I was in the area and needed a quick shave and cut. I followed the link from Yelp to their website…read moreand had an appointment set in no time which was easy as can be. I arrived and Ali was ready for me when I walked in the door and started on me right away. He was very personable and had a light tough on both the shave and the cut with no nics or razor burn. We had a great conversation during our session, and I wish I could have stayed longer to shoot the breeze, but I had a prior engagement so I had to run. I'd recommend Ali and his shop to anyone looking for a great cut. Leave yourself some time to talk with him, he is friendly and knowledgeable. Say hi to Garfield

I then proceeded to schedule and ask if they had someone who is comfortable with long hair and bangs he then proceeded to say "no we only do men's hair" ..... I am a 30 year old man and find it incredibly disrespectful that a child would mouth off to me as I try to inquire about their services. I certainly don't recommend anyone go there. They are clearly hateful and bigoted with an incredible amount of disregard for their potential clients. That was incredibly unprofessional.

I got a great lesson on how to style my Dad's hair for the wedding and we bought some of their amazing product. If we had this salon and Louie in Austin Dad would go every month rather than once in a blue moon. Thanks for giving my father his favorite grooming ever!

Been pondering this review for a few days - I believe in honest assessment and truth good or bad…read morewhen reviewing any business how else can people trust you - so an updated review been roughly 3 months since I last came to Roosters for a hair cut and beard treatment - made the mistake of opting for a more expensive Gentlemen's Choice (cut & shave) $54 rather then the original Roosters Club Cut $32 - bad decision - the place was immaculate again - was greeted with a smile and pleasant demeanor - scheduled with Isaiah again - was offered water by another gentlemen - Isaiah wasn't the same man from the first hair cut seemed to be rushed - the 45 min approx time frame from booking was done in 20 mins - he didn't realize I had scheduled him - he took the cape off of me after two attempts trimming hair after telling him multiple times to shave it close on sides and back because I'm without plumbing at home and washing hair is complicated process atm - the hair was cut closer and much much better the first haircut 3 months ago ALOT of care and time was spent doing a good job 3 months ago the haircut was not done well this last visit even after two tries - he removed the cape that protects you from getting hair on your clothes and said your done - I was confused I booked hair and beard, told him wanted beard trimmed - again seemed rushed or uninterested in his responsibilities or to bother to see what I had scheduled with him - after a pause out the cape back on did a quick beard "trim" and "cut" - then finished and took cape off again - I was covered in hair all over no attempt to brush and check on his part - worst - my beard is uneven everywhere some cut close other areas not cut the same - my mustache was uneven had long hairs on one side not the other it was all a mess - I spent $70 (I tip well in service industry) and got a rushed uneven bad experience in what I originally deemed a class and quality hair dresser and business - after this last experience I cannot recommend the business or the hairdresser because consistency and quality of the entire experience doesn't match the immaculate interior and wonderful owners and other staff - be careful and consider all options available and alas - sigh - other businesses
