Not too pricey, and a fairly quick tour of the city (under an hour). It's a hop-on, hop-off bus…read moretour, but there aren't really many places that you want to hop-off. Only seven stops. They provide cheapy headphones for you to listen to the pre-recorded audio track if you don't speak German (which is blaring over the loudspeakers in the bus). Nothing really special, and if this is what city bus tours are like, I probably won't do any more in the future. They have a couple other routes to try, as well, but I can't imagine that they are any better than the main city tour that I took. So here's the funny part: my wife was commenting that our driver was very aggressive, but I didn't really agree... until he rear-ended someone!! So that delayed us a bit while they worked things out...

Perfect for what it is…read more This is convenient and easy multilingual tour service around various routes in Munich. We had a choice of three routes and chose the Red route which mainly goes though the middle of Munich. This bus tour service helps to familiarize you with essential areas and also gives you some simple history along the way. Nicely priced and you have the option of using your pass to get around if you're tired of walking. I had a good camera and sitting on the top level ( the bus had two levels) I was able to take quite a few very nice photos. That was a bonus! You're up a little higher so it worked well. Do this as a tourist to get your bearings or the city. :)
