Just wanted to do a review for JJ at Top Q Nails. My family and I went to get "the works", hands and toes done at the Nail salon in the mall and couldn't have left happier. Our tech was JJ, and she was over the top. My sister who was a Mani Virgin had a great experience, my mother who is a diabetic left happy and my picky self all loved her! She was funny and knowledgeable of her products and is NEW from California. I brought in a picture and she matched what I wanted exactly without making the acrylic too thick. All of my past pet peeves from nail places here are finally put to rest! She took her time and was very gentle, I was not cut ONCE which usually is an issue for me. All of my nail lengths are the same and none are crooked. We left very happy and will be returning to JJ! read more

TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! I have gone to Top-Q several times and overall they do a half ah job. They are always rushing and don't listen to what you want! I showed him a picture of French tip with gold outline. He didn't paint the French tip but just figured the tip he glues on it is enough. The white takes up half he nail and I told him that I didn't like that there was much white. Thinking he would give me a solution but instead he proceeded to scold me on how" that's what I wanted and that's why I asked you". They charged me 75 dollars for one strip of gold paint. I've been to this nail salon 4 times. First time was good. Second and third time I got a different lady than the first time and she was rude. Went back today for the 4th time for a mani/pedi. Got a different girl than the rude one so I was happy about that. She did the pedi first. Was talking to the other employees, not paying attention to what she was supposed to be doing. She cut the skin above my cuticle. I pointed it out to her and said it was burning, and what does she do??? She poured ACETONE on it!!! Burned like hell!! Then she started talking to the girl in the seat next to me about her hair while she was supposed to be massaging my legs with hot rocks. Instead, she was turning the stones round and round in her hands. I had to ask her to pay attention to what she was doing. I skipped the manicure and will never ever go back there again. 0/10. he was too fast and didn't take much time on my nails. he's young and new, didn't add enough powder or something , didn't file the nails down on the inside, left the nails so sharp I nearly cut myself and they have chipped horribly within the first week. the acrylic is so thin I feel like I wasted my money here for them to only last a week, more than half of my fingers with polish are ruined. read more

I have given this place a try a few different times in hopes that id find a decent nail tech. I havent, and have wasted a lot of money on their mediocre services. I feel like they always use the bare minimal product, even if it leaves your nails looking terrible. Ive had to ask a couple times to do an extra layer of colors so its not splotchy. Ive gotten 3 pedicures there, each time i either had to ask for the massage, or have them discount me for just flat out not doing it. The pedicures are rushed, i did not feel pampered or welcomed there tbh. not capable of very simple nail art, i asked for a triangle and they couldn't manage it. After not visiting there for 6 months, my current nail tech is out of town so i went there today. They left gel polish all over the skin, forget the the hand and foot massage that comes standard with a manicure and pedicure. Then when i went to leave they charged me $80!!!! And refused to work with me. I will never go there again. read more

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star!! Spent $30 on a pedicure that was by far THE WORST pedicure of my life and she didn't even massage she tickled inbetween my toes. I had tons of dry skin on feet so went back today and they were SO RUDE about me wanting it fixed they took the cheese grater thing out and was SO rough on my feet and heals that they are now BLEEDING!!! They put my feet in nasty water without the plastic on foot thing and the grater wasn't even clean. I have pictures and video of everything and will be contacting BBB & whomever else I need to. I went in to get a pedicure done to treat myself. I ended up getting a tech that not only ignored every single covid preventative measure but rushed through everything, forced gel on me, kept leaving me to do other tasks and counting it as my time as he was with me for "massage". Realized as he was almost done he wasn't washing his hands between tasks and was touching/adjusting his cloth mask. He wasn't wearing a name tag or I would have gotten his name. I couldn't understand him either. Got home and realized none of the calluses were even gone from my feet because he rushed through everything. read more

Went to get a pedicure with the wife, don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a foot rub. Well let's just say this is the most disrespectful and inexperienced staff. I've recently been battling with two ingrown toenails from their trimming job. If you want to go here, beware of the long time effects that it will have on your feet. I love this place. My nails turn out perfect every time. I'm always able to get in as a walk in except on weekends when they are super busy. I have had multiple different people do my nails and they've always been done well and lasted a long time. Totally recommend. read more

Horrible service. I showed up for a polish change and was told 1/2 hour wait. No problem. They called a couple ladies back, one lady is upset because she was supposed to be first. They said "oh, this lady was already here". Who knows?! So my 1/2 hour comes and goes and during that time two other women come in. Finally the nail lady comes over and asks who is there for polish change. Me, I say. "And brows too?" No, that's her (a lady that showed up 15 minutes after I did). They take her!! I said it was my turn and she told me, " oh she was here. We didn't make mistake". The hell you didn't!! She wasn't there! I left. Will never return. Shitty people and liars! read more

If you get Todd, ask for someone else. My friends seemed to have great nails, I've heard John and David are awesome. Basically I got a mani-pedi, which was practically a waste of $65(!!). My pedi was rushed, and when I said I didn't want color on my toes, he refused to do a clear coat because it was too much work I guess. I wanted gel polish on my nails and he tried to talk me out of that too. Rushed through, did a crap job on the nails. If I ever go back I will make sure to get someone else! read more

This is the place most people have suggested as a decent place for gel mani in town. I'm not sure why - I just left and the guy did a total HACK job on this mani. He used the nippers to grab and then rip the skin around my nail beds. When I mentioned the polish all over my skin he grabbed cotton, remover, and proceeded to scrape (using his own nails) some of the polish off. He actually ripped the skin open on my thumb. I just asked him to stop. I do hope my skin heals quickly. It wasn't worth the wait time and especially not the $65 price tag for a half-ass pedi with this aggressive mani. Never again. read more

If you only want your feet washed and toes painted that is basically all you get with regular manicure. If you would like smooth feet go somewhere else. They say to get deluxe manicure for $45 if you want any dead skin removed!! Staff act as if they do not want to be there or to do their job. One lady kept yawning as she was painting nails. I paid for a shellac (gel) manicure. $35 I get the same manicure apprx every 3 weeks every where I've lived from here to NC. I get the exact same color Vixen Rouge every time. I first notice the color was a slightly off. It was more orange than coral. When she finished my nails felt gooey not hard as they should be. Upon leaving I scatched on the surface and the polish came off. I immediately confronted the manager. They are MIXING REGULAR POLISH IN WITH THE SHELLAC. It will not last as it should. It's pathetic they are ripping patrons off an extra $20 for regular polish. I came home and peeled off the polish with ease. I AM SO PISSED THEY RIPPED ME OFF. read more

I had a regular acrylic nails (the cheapest one) and then i wanted a design on them. the nail art is great. But i have small nails and I've had this problem at other places. but they put too big a nail and it makes my nails look odd. also he never checked my nails to be sure they were all the same length, which they are NOT spent 50 dollars for nails that are OK at a glance but i notice it right away. OVER ALL I DON'T THINK I WOULD GO BACK OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. SOMEONE HAD RECOMMEND IT TO ME. SUCKS I SPENT TOTAL OF $85 AND I' AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE WORK. read more
