We had worked with Cody initially, he was timely, attentive, helpful and more importantly knowledgeable about the trees in the Bryan/College Station area. Cody looked at our trees and gave suggestions on trimming, which we agreed to as well as the landscaping maintenance and the first few encounters were delightful and easy peazy!! We had discussed an annual contract for monthly landscape maintenance as needed, in the warmer months more often. We were happy with everything that we had seen with Cody and his crew for that first month and I thought we had a plan!! Well, not so fast.....by month two, I had to call TPT to inquire maintenance and each and every time we were promised within the week. And?? No show!! But don't worry as we were billed!! I had several trees to remove in the back yard, including one large tree. There were also approximately three dozens stumps to remove. Half of the stumps were in a muddy low area. Colby advised on which trees were worth saving and which should be removed. The decision to cut or save depends on the condition of each tree and its proximity to other trees. The large tree removal required planning to avoid its landing on the garage. Half of the stumps were located in an area of poor drainage, which was wet and muddy. Colby is quite expert with a chain saw. His stump grinding machine is state-of-the-art and makes quick work of stump removal. The marshy area of the back yard caused some difficulties and delays; but the actual cutting, grinding and hauling process was surprisingly fast. While the work was underway, I asked Colby to tear down and remove a wooden pergola, which was then included with the other work. Removing the ugly trees has greatly improved aesthetics and now allows us to see the lake beyond our property. The process of moving from Houston to College Station in the last year has required that I use the services of several companies and individuals. Overall, I am weary of the salesman who sells, followed by workers who are bored and listless. Colby, on the other hand, sells the job and then handles key parts of the work.
