Breakfast buffet

Highly recommend to visit in Tobermory. This is what local people eats in Tobermory. Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Price: ~11 per person for weekend breakfast buffet. We had a large group visiting Tobermory for one weekend. This place is the best food place we tried at Tobermory. It is a interesting place that it has "King Buffet" dishes, and many variety of decorations. This is not a tourist trap and had decent food. For Saturday and Sunday, it got all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. To me, it is better than Toronto. It got many good dishes, like deep fried banana, home-made apple pies, hash browns, tomatoes on bread. This is the place I would come back when I visit Tobermory.

Buffet table1, yummy!

We are vacationing at Georgian Bluff and we rely on yelps to find restaurant and we found this place. Im hesitant at first as there were only 2 reviews. We are not disappointed. In fact, they have a very good breakfast buffet. My son liked it very much too. He said this is now his top 1 breakfast buffet restaurant. My favorites are their omelette, crepe with cheesecake filling and banana cake. I posted pictures as there are so many good food to choose from. And the price is very good too, $10.99!!! Jackpot!!! :)

Food, glorious food!

Was hoping for a great roadside diner experience. Freah cut fries were burnt or reheated. Fish was heavily breaded.

Great breakfast and price. Prefect stop for an early morning getaway. Servings were large and service was prompt.

Hungry Hanger - This photo does not show the scale of this skillet. It is literally a medium cast iron skillet filled with deliciousness.

I am shocked to see that my review will be the first for this incredible eatery. First of all, the…read morecoolest location ever! Hungry Hangar is literally beside the Keppel International runway so it is a very cool place to watch small planes take off and land while eating. It's so popular with locals that the owners had to ask patrons to keep their stay to 1.5 hours so other customers can also dine with them. Sure enough, mid--way through our meal, a plan landed and taxied right to the window, parked, while the pilot hopped out and walked to the office building next to the restaurant. This is our first visit to Wiarton and we wanted to have breakfast locally. On a Tuesday morning, only two restaurants served breakfast. So glad we chose this one. We both love skillets and chose one with kielbasa sausage and one with thick slides bacon pieces. Our server was so friendly and helpful in describing the menu. We elected to have the sauce on the side; she was really open to meeting our needs. When our skillets came, they were literally medium-sized cast iron skillets, filled with crispy home potatoes, onions, bell pepper, loaded with meat and two perfectly medium fried eggs on top, with just the right amount of melted cheddar cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed HALF of our meals, dabbing our forks in the tangy, sweet sauce and sipping our very fresh decaf coffee. What a comfort meal. We boxed up our other half and will repeat this joyful meal tomorrow morning in our hotel room, though the ambience will not be nearly as entertaining. The restaurant was filled with locals, always a good sign. It's a rather small room with about 8 tables, so there is likely to be a wait on weekends. That's OK. It's worth the wait. The price was very reasonable, especially given the generous portion sizes. We will definitely be returning to try their lunch entrees. The menu looked wonderful, with many tried and true satisfying choices. Definitely out this diner in your list if you are anywhere nearby. And save time to hang around and watch airplanes do their thing.

Our server was lovely, polite, and attentive. The ambiance is cute, exactly what I would hope for…read morefrom an airport restaurant. Great views of the runway. The food was well made and reasonably priced. We ordered from the breakfast menu and it was lovely. We would definitely stop here again.
