I called in a few contractors who told us the job was too big for them. Some told me to knock down the place ( 6000) square feet. One of my colleagues ( I am a physical therapist) referred me to DNK CUSTOMS. She said they do home modifications for disabled folks ( one of the owners is an Occupational therapist). To make a long story short, I called, they came, and exceeded our expectations. They passed all inspections, cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. I did not have to deal with drunk laborers coming in late or shoddy work that would not pass an inspection. They are second to none.

Due to hurricane Idalia and some strong wind storms recently some of the screws had raised up. Michael Pittman and Son Roofing is licensed and insured, which was very important to me as a customer as the pitch on my roof is very steep. We met with Michael and Son, they reviewed the issue of raised screws, made the recommendation to replace all current screws with an improved, slightly larger screw. We approved the quote for the work and was placed on the schedule. Crew worked very efficiently, cleaned up all screws removed, replaced the roof vent boots and caulked all boots against water intrusion. Communications via voice, email and text to keep us updated on the schedule and work being completed was excellent. Trevor Pittman was on site while the screw replacement was being completed. We feel we received an excellent job with the right company for our needs at a very good value. Would continue to recommend Michael Pittman and Son Roofing to others without hesitation. We prefer to support local companies whenever we are in need of replacements/repairs to our home.

You can get many different colors of roofing, and matching screws. When you place your order you can pick up your roofing the very next day. You don't have to wait weeks to get it. The other most significant thing for us are the employees- Bobby & Mac. They are extremely courteous, and helpful. You could stay there all day and chat with Bobby, she's very friendly and fun to talk with. We are getting ready to build an outdoor kitchen when it cools down and we will return there for more roofing - and the "Evergreen" color will match the color of the roof on our house. Don't know why someone would write a bad review about price. Not sure it's much higher in price than anywhere else but even if it were, you get what you pay for, the color you want, you get what you order quickly, and its a business worth buying from.

We…read morehired them to merge our small dining space with the dining space on our porch, to make one large dining room to hold all of our friends and family. Our project involved some engineering and creative problem solving, as we were removing a load-bearing wall. Steve and Trey listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions, and we had a ton of questions! Once the remodel got started I was pleasantly surprised with how clean they ran the construction site. At the end of each day, they cleaned up, vacuumed and even ran a magnet across our backyard to pick up any construction debris. We really appreciated this, as we work from home and have small children, so we had to truly live in the construction area. Plus, I didn't have to worry about the kids stepping on something and getting hurt. One of my favorite parts of the build was the communication. We were on a group text and were kept up to date on when they'd be arriving, what would be getting done, etc. They always showed up when they said they would, and if they were delayed by another job, they were quick to let us know. I highly recommend Kay Construction for any project. We are excited to have found such a great, reliable and honest contractor who we can trust. And we are IN LOVE with our new space. It turned out beautiful!
