About 20 minutes after leaving their location, they called me and said that there was nothing they could do because they were too busy and I was not a current customer. Apparently, having absolutely no heat in the middle of November in Colorado is not enough of an emergency for them to send someone. I guess the one thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving is that, so far, the temperature has not dipped to too cold, yet. This is one of the reasons why I do not shop locally.

We've never needed him in an emergency situation though have confidence he could be immediately contacted at any time. Doug has always been responsive to our phone inquiries and visits with regard to trouble shooting our sometimes finicky entran-boiler system (why is it that the only time you don't have any hot water is when you have a house full of visitors?). Our system is now just over 10 years old (another entity who is no longer in business, installed the OEM) and Doug just replaced our leaking 10 year old hot water receptacle which required some innovative soldering. His experience is considerable and his labor prices and material costs are reasonable. Like most, our entran-boiler-mechanical room adorns a mounted bevy of copper, glycol filled conduit and humming hanging pumps. He is always attentive, patient and willing to teach a total neophyte-former flatlander-homeowner some ("enough to make me a lil' dangerous") intuitve bits (though mechanically, will always utilize his expertise).
