He asked me whether I would like lunch but I decided to go for specialty smoothie instead. Ordered "yellow smoothie" made up of banana, pear, orange and pineapple with milk or soy milk or almond milk. Needed some vitamin C to fight my cold. I was the first person who popped by here so I can't really comment on how the food arrive (fast/slow). I like how the smoothie is presented. In a glass bottle. Not too sweet and chia seeds are added (bonus). It has the pulps of the orange/ pineapple too. The portion is pretty good too for an affordable price. I like how the store is designed. Modern yet classic somehow. I like the color matches - from wall to furnitures. They provide lunches as well and their menu is a combination of Aussie and Italian menu. Parking is metered at this end of Parramatta but you can park a little further away and walk. The restaurant faces a courtyard and is next to another similar restaurant; healthy competition? Our waitress was on the ball. Whilst we were four adults on a voucher, we had two children in tow. She was mindful that a baby cino might need more than one marshmallow..we ended up with four. She was clear on what was and what wasn't included in the voucher and double checked on how we wanted our eggs & toast. As for the food....very good and generous portions. We did add to the meal with iced coffee and other drinks. The coffee was very good. The restaurant has seating inside and outside. It is quite open and there is plenty of room to park a stroller. There is also a bar that serves beer and wine. As it was breakfast we gave that a miss this time.

The world is a very different place from the time I was a child and there are many good places…read moretheses days and Basket Brothers is one of those places. The food is lovely. I had a granola bowl with some delicious mango concoction and coconut yogurt with lots of fresh fruit and house made granola. The coffee was good as well. And I got to sit outside. It finally rained in Parramatta the last two days so the air was fresh. I highly recommend Basket Brothers for breakfast and coffee.

I've been to so many malls and every time I see a long queue, I know there's a Boost Juice bar at front. Boost makes the best juices. My favourites is the Wild Berry Juice. Another favourite of mine is their crushes range. I often flip between Mango Tango, Watermelon and Tropical. I don't like their smoothies as much though. Boost juice is a great option in a food court. Instead of reaching for diet cola's I prefer queuing up at Boost. I could do with a little Boost (sorry for the lame pun) to get rid of my muffin top!

They might be nice people but they are cranky when they get busy - maybe more staff would be the answer. After dinner a few weeks ago, we had planned to have dessert at San Churro. We found that to be impossible with crowds of people at the counter and no where to sit. The staff were busy serving and their attitude leaves a lot to be desired. After waiting 15 minutes and seemingly not getting any closer to the counter, we gave up and went further down the road and had dessert at another restaurant. C'est La Vie!
