There is a moon crater, a moon worm, rockets, a space ship etc. Boo loved the mini rockets and the music making areas. The place is spotless and very well maintained - and lots to entertain for hours! There is an area at the back that has some information and learning areas about plants. Try pushing the button on the rocket! All in all we had a ball here and wish this was near our house as boo loved it! Check out the pictures to see her smiling face! There is a Liberty swing and toilets and a big car park.

Then I remember that it's a free world and disapproving looks from the more mature members of the grown-up community does not prevent me from having a jolly good time on what has to be one of the most fantastic playgrounds in suburbia. It has everything. Everything. Wobbly things, running things, things to stick your head into and get it stuck, swings, slides, bridges, flying foxes and other general obstacles. I can only imagine how brilliant a game of tiggy would be (but at night, so as not to injure small bodies with my own lumbering clumsy one). Built by a team of parents, friends and workers, this playground is a wonderful gift to children, child-minders and child-minded alike. A great way to spend an afternoon in the sun, or even the gloom.

That is shattered a little when you see the boarded up hole where the slide used to be but other than that it's a pretty well kept playground. It's sponsored by mitre ten and the whole thing is wooden. I was really impressed by the safety of the whole thing and all the hidden nooks and crannies under the built part. There is a cutout section where you can pose like you are driving a big freight liner and a train you can pretend to drive. They do have a Liberty swing here too for children in wheelchairs which is an awesome idea. Highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area with kidlets.

Kingston Heath boasts one of the longest flying foxes I've seen outside of a supervised adventure camp - easily double the average length. It's also got a cool spider web thing, and the whole playground is spread over a large area which makes a game of tiggy brilliant (and very helpful for keeping squabbling kids apart). There's even a spinning tea cup. Some sheltered areas, and some nice places to sit and chat if running around like a madman isn't your thing.

There are several different mazes: a beautiful, quite difficult hedge maze, a formal maze, an easy maze for little kids, several puzzle mazes with color-coded rules for moving about, and, my favorite, a hillbilly maze made from old mattress-springs. Interspersed among these are woodcarvings of wombats, kangaroos, and the like. Then there is the tube-slide down a steep grassy slope: basic but surprisingly fun. We had meant to stop in briefly on our way to the coast, but ended up spending several happy hours here.

They have plenty of mazes, tree surfing, tube slides and a 3d indoor maze. Normal entry included everything except for the tree surfing. We went through all the different mazes and the most fun part of the trip were the tube slides. They have 4 giant slides where you need to lug a donut up a hill but it is well worth it. The 3d maze was a bit scary for me but most of the kids didn't seem too fazed! I really really wanted to try the tree surfing but as we arrived a bit later to this place, it was fully booked!!! I will be back to try that and the tube slides again.

King Parade Playground has recently been re-vamped and all the equipment is brand new. It is a…read moremodest playground but it has plenty of grassy areas surrounding it and is great for kicking a ball around or any game requiring serious room. It borders both King Parade and Norma Crescent South in Knoxfield, as it is located on empty blocks of land on a suburban street. It also acts as a useful cut through between these streets- well, for me anyway. Small green plants and large rocks line the footpath on either end of the park - kids seem to enjoy jumping from rock to rock. I have never seen the park particularly busy which is always a nice thing - it means you don't ever really have to wait for someone else to finish with a piece of equipment. It has two swings - one baby and one adult size. There are also two wooden park benches to sit on that face the playground. These are perfectly placed for any adults supervising their kids. When it rains the park gets really muddy and slushy. You will get mud splashes on your clothes if you walk across it when it is like this, so if you're using it as a cut through only I would definitely avoid using it on wet days. Otherwise it is a pretty good playground and park. I happily recommend it.

Pick up was at Sorrento Pierre where you are provided with safety instructions and wet suits, flippers and snorkelling gear. The staff were very friendly and numerous and were always doing their best to ensure your safety. This is an package designed for strong swimmers especially on those windy days. I really struggled as I was a weak swimmer but my partner had a ball being able to interact so closely with dolphins and seals in the harbour. They did their best to entertain those who did not choose to go under by bringing the sea life aboard like the rock crab. People on board were able to view the dolphins closely too as they approached the boat curious of what was happening. The dolphins approaches our boat to investigate the commotion. They were so beautiful. We finished off the day with a free swim by a common resting area for seals. The seals were really friendly and one pup was even brave enough to approach the swimmers for a play. It was a great experience and definitely something you have to add to your bucket list.

We were lucky enough to hear the Dingo's howl once inside the park preparing us for the sound that occasionally breaks the silence of our next destination, the Australian semi arid zone and the Red Centre. We timed our trip to include feeding kangaroos on the wallaby walk and the keeper-led talks on Cockatoos, Parrots and Koalas. Aurora the Red tailed cockatoo patiently sitting on her egg in the Cockatoo enclosure being fed by her mate Antonio was particularly sweet to see. Mo the Koala put on a show once he was offered some West Australia Eucalypt leaves known as Koala junk food. We learned that Koalas have a gestation of 35 days before moving to the pouch for 6-8 months and then finally mums back til they are weaned of Pap and left to fend for themselves. With a lifespan of 10-15 years Koalas don't mind the rain with a waterproof and double coat that keeps the rain off and cold out even high in the gum trees. As this beach faces the bay, the water is cool and calm and it is a bit more protected from the weather and elements than some other beachs (such as point impossible) As with all nudist beaches, the creepy male presence is high and detracts from the experience, especially if you are female. I actually ended up confronting one particular man after he stared at me non stop for a good 30 min. Also had a funny moment with a passing by stand up paddle boarder who I thought would fall into the water considering he didn't watch where he was going for a good 5 min until I waved and he promptly pretended the water was more interesting. I was pleased to see that I wasn't the only women on the beach (as I often am) and that the people were quite friendly. We ended up meeting a few nice people who chatted easily and shared stories. Unfortunately some of these stories were about sexual assaults perpetrated on the beach :( I encourage women to frequent places like this and speak up and report inappropriate behaviors. This is the only way we can change the sexist culture and enjoy our own freedoms. Ladies, next time you feel gawked at, say something. You'd be surprised by how well supported you will feel by the regulars who frequent this beach and want everyone to feel safe
