Best to look NE of the intersection of Hastings and Nanaimo. The venue is on the 2nd floor, with no elevator. Something to keep in mind in terms of accessibility. The inside is dingy and dated. Looks like something out of the 1970s. They have both (3) snooker and (4) 8 ball tables. Tables are a bit packed, but there's enough room for shots. Table quality is pretty decent I must say. There are plenty of lanes for bowling along with pool tables and some arcade games. The name of the game here is 5 pin bowling. It's a fun and relaxing experience. Since they only have 5 pin bowling and they didn't allow us to drink by the bowling area, we decided to play billiards instead. It was around $22/hr for each table. They had multiple tables that were really close to each other which made it tough to play. I would recommend them to space their tables out more so that players are not bumping into each other and have enough room to play. They also did not have a water fountain at the venue so I asked their bar if I could get a glass of water. They said that we have to pay for it and they would only take cash. I wasn't looking to buy a bottle of water, just wanted a glass with tap water. But they said that we would have to pay for the cups, luckily my friend had some change so I was able to get water. I feel like for such a big venue space that serves alcohol, serving a glass of tap water shouldn't be such a big ask. The service was ok!

The place is actually 2/3 pool hall and 1/3 cafe. Several big screen TVs, and a surprisingly number (6 total) of pool tables. Tables are of the 8 ball variety. In other words, no snooker here. The coffee bar also serves alcoholic beverages and sandwiches. No hot food. One thing worth mentioning is that they don't have decaf for some reason. With that said, my coffee tasted fine.

They were very accommodating for our reservations and they serve decent beer (you're not limited to Canadian, Coors Lite, and Kokanee). I was getting pints of Sleeman's Honey Brown while getting my ass handed to me in pool. Serves me right to play with one guy who grew up with a pool table in his home and another who is a hustling biker. Since it's two blocks away from the Yaletown Skytrain on the Canada Line, I will likely be back. Their food menu looks tasty. The nachos and wings I saw coming out of the kitchen looked very appetizing. Outside of that, I'm looking forward to spending a couple of hours playing some pool and drinking some beer. Prices aren't cheap; $58.00/hour plus $4.00/person for shoe rentals. There's slightly cheaper rates for off-peak hours. Pool tables are more reasonable ($25.00/hour for 8-ball, $35.00/hour for snooker). 6 lanes (three can be reserved online, three walk-in) that are tightly squeezed together. Bowling balls are greasy, shoes gnarly. The pins are held by strings, which I've never seen before. They start your time the moment you pay. Our group of four managed to squeeze in two full games. 2.5 stars.

Ping pong balls are sticky. Basically reminds me of the Met, but with ping pong. Staff are friendly. Beers are a bit pricey. The ping pong area has a cosmic theme, with some black light I think. The ping pong balls are orange, and seemed to glow a bit. Good for some casual fun. Just try not to get too tipsy when playing.
