The bathroom and store were spotless, which is a rare find at that hour. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming--even in the middle of the night. Tess specifically stood out with her friendly, helpful demeanor, which made a rough stretch of travel much more pleasant. If you're on the road and need a reliable pit stop, this Allsup's is worth it.

I figured it might be the average stop but the 6 reviews that were all 5 stars had me wondering if there was something special about this location. For me they were a fairly average gas station, with the biggest downside being they are not open 24/7. They do close at 11pm, so plan for that if you are driving overnight. Bathrooms are clean, snacks were comparable to the standard gas station, and the employees were quiet but friendly. If you need to stop, this Pak a Sak isn't a bad option, but there are other stops that I preferred during our trip.

I usually buy them at the dollar stores but I didn't happen to pass by any. I saw this Walgreen and figure they'd have to have something cheap. If they don't have over 5 grams of Menthol they don't really work. The ones I bought had 7.5 mg. As long as I was in there I grabbed a couple more pralines to take back to California with me.
