I once met an American guy on holiday who couldn't believe that I had such nice, straight, white teeth, he was amazed because he said that there's a long standing joke about English people and their 'medieval' grins. I thought he was an idiot and retorted, "we don't all want fake, Hollywood, glow-the-dark gnashers you know!". I then started to take a look around much more closely than I had done before, and I'm sorry to say that he has a fair point. People of London, I think it's about time you gave your not-so-pearly-whites some much needed tlc.
Toothplace is a dental hygienist, meaning that they carry out superficial work, so if you've got a serious problem then save that for the dentist. But, if you'd just like a clean or a general spruce up then this place is like a salon for teeth and within 30 minutes you can have a beautifully clean, shiny smile. If you can do your nails on your lunch break, why not your teeth!
I had the 'High Gloss Diamond Polish' treatment that uses a power jet to blast away stains and then polish each tooth with a special paste to leave them sparkling. My mouth felt incredible afterwards, think of that great fresh feeling after you've just brushed your teeth and times it by ten. The result was definitely noticeable, they were much brighter and had glassy look about them. As the polish removes stains, such as coffee and red wine, it's a great way of maintaining dentist checkup's. They've started doing a breath freshening technique straight from (yeah, you guessed it) California, so your mouth really will be in the best shape it's ever been.
They do have whitening options starting from £295, but I'd first try a clean and see if you can restore your own natural whiteness. The treatments aren't cheap, a basic clean and polish is £50. But, my theory is that I'd spend way more than that on a pair of heals, so why not my smile, after all I wear that everyday. read more
