Everything worked as it was supposed to and it was a good price compared to other stations. Unlike some areas of the country the credit card price is the same as the cash price which is very handy when you are traveling and using your card everywhere. The credit card machine and the pump were both easy to use with no glitches.

It also has a drive-thru for times that you don't want to get out of your car due to weather. The pumps are a bit busier as it's the closest gas station to i40. The employees take pride in their place of employment and keep the trash bins taken care of. Getting out is a little confusing if you are not used to the flow of traffic but typically people are nice and let you through. Be careful the dip when you leave the shopping center! The manager / main oil technician was rude and I could hear him over and over again talking down to the other technicians. I never saw anyone go underneath my vehicle to change the oil filter so I'm sure that was missed as well. They are slow as well. I sat there well over 40 minutes and it wasn't even busy. Prices are high as well and they love to push you for the " upcharge " on oil and filters ! They are very disorganized. I had 2 different technicians do the same job checking the same fluids. Overall, I hate that Kwik Karr is no longer in this location and it was changed to Valvoline. I definitely will never go back to this location. I did call corporate about all of the issues as well and was told they would notify the " area manager ". This manager never bothered or took the time to contact me. Not a company I will give my money or time to again.

After we hopped back in our car, the check engine light came on, and my Ford Focus (2004 SE, 2.3L) was shuddering/jerking very strongly in idle and in drive. Fortunately, I've had this problem already occur in the past year -- so I knew that a different one of my cylinders was misfiring, and that I specifically needed another new ignition coil (I had paid $600 for parts+labor in West Los Angeles). I called a few auto shops within a mile radius. One said they were heavily backed up with other customers. One said they were booked for the rest of the week. Top Gun said they could look at the car immediately, and could definitely replace the ignition coil within an hour and for ~$300 if that was indeed the problem, so I rolled in. They let me sit with my two cats (in carriers) in the waiting room while they ran diagnostics. Came back maybe 15 minutes later, and told me I was right about the ignition coil. 45 minutes later, the job was done for $300, half the price I paid the first time in LA for a different coil, and we were back on the road for our adventure! I'm extremely grateful that we found them. Great service quality, price and speediness, and a very trustworthy, accommodating and friendly staff. I'd recommend any friend to their facility. Thank you again, Top Gun! :)
