One of the few places in the area, open on a Sunday afternoon. It's a reasonably large restaurant that could seat 50-70 people. They have a pizza counter and of course a full menu of options for starters, pasta, meat, fish and desserts. We decided to order the antipasti teller and it was ok. Loads of olive oil and lacking in flavour or punch. My main course was a pasta dish with clams. I have had this dish so many times in lots of restaurants and it was ok. Lacked the intense flavour I am used to with this dish and, I had to add salt and chili to get it a bit of punch. The creme caramel I had was also ok, nothing special. Service here is good however, speaking Italian alone does not make for good service. The staff were busy watching something on television and seemed a bit distracted by it. I may come back here again. Given the choice of fabulous Italian restaurants in the area, I would have to think twice before coming here.

It was a friends birthday and they came out with the tiramisu and panna cotta with a sparkler on top, complete with birthday music playing over the speakers. Panna Cotta was BOMB.COM Tiramisu was a flop though. There are WAY better tiramisus out there.

We were not really greeted when we entered. The waitress (with the inflated monster lips - sorry, I'm a bitch! But she wasn't able to even smile at us once or even be a smidge friendly) looked at us, then at the several empty tables and told us we needed a reservation. Hm, maybe we were not schickimicki enough? So we decided to get two pizzas to go instead of eating at the high bar tables. All in all not impressed with the service and friendliness. Damn, I have been away from Bavaria for too long. I am too used to flaky friendly California dining experiences haha. Anyway... the pizza was all right. Aside from the greasiness, I must admit that the pizza is probably one of the best vegetarian pizzas that I've had in Munich.
