My friend and I stopped in for a lunch! First things everybody was super friendly! Ordering is easy either online or in person. It gets busy fairly quickly. Food came out in about 30 minutes and it was good. We ordered a variety of subs and pizza. The smaller pizza wasn't super good but not bad. Cheesesteak was amazing!! The sauce they give with it is really good! Plenty of places to sit down and enjoy with decor. read more

The best cheese steak in the Grand Stand/Georgetown area. The cheese pizza is always a hit with my family. Don't forget to try their ranch dressing. read more

Every road trip to Georgetown, SC I have to stop and get a sub with Tony's sauce. Although employees come and go the sandwich remains the same. Service was really good, I really like the fact that the cashier inform you of the wait time of the food being they are not open regularly. The ambiance is still the same it's settled and tables and booths are available. Since they don't ship I brought 2 sauces to bring back to NC. Keep it originally, it's a touch of home. read more

I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that the Onion Steak sub smothered in Tony's sauce has been my favorite sandwich of all time for over 20 years. I don't live Georgetown but multiple times I have driven from Charleston and Columbia just to order this piece of perfection of a sandwich and get a new bottle of sauce. It has never changed, never failed to hit the spot, and I look forward to my next visit very soon! The pizza is pretty good too. read more

Tony's Famous Pizza - The Best Onion Steak Sub of all time - Pizza Near Me - Georgetown, South Carolina

We picked up pizza on our way into town for a weeks vacation. Been coming there for years and have always enjoyed it.

Pizza and Sub was great. Got a bottle of their sauce. Whenever we pass thru Georgetown we get things to take home for later.

Food is amazing but for me to call in my order and tell me it'll be ready in about 30 minutes and still wait another 30 minutes is ridiculous. I get it it's busy. But can't be that busy if all the girls who worked today's shift are distracted laughing in their phones FACINF COSTUMERS while costumers wait in line waiting for them. read more

Great news for those that have Celiac or a gluten sensitivity. They now offer Cauliflower (gluten free) crust!

Ordered take-out and picked up when it was supposed to be ready (30 min after order placed). Had to wait another 30 min in store to get only ONE of the pizzas we ordered which was just plain cheese! They gave away the other pizza! Offered to bake a new one if we waited another 20 min... not a chance! Don't bother with this place- pizza was on par with frozen pizza, so just save your money and go elsewhere. Only positive was that they refunded the pizza. read more

Always have to stop at Tony's when I am in Georgetown. They were crowded as usual but food came at a reasonable pace. The house special pizza was great just like always. Only complaint (pet peeve for pizza place) they don't cut the pizza worth a dern! Have to cut each slice. read more

Amazing food and they are friendly.and they get your Order right the only I want is for them to be on door dash.

California Burgers in Conway has the best salads. Their croutons are the best, never ate them on a salad until I tried theirs, just magical. I won't talk about how good their deep fried macaroni bites are but those salads are just amazing . Don't know the chef personally but I pray for his future success. read more

We ordered a sausage and anchovies pizza to take back to our hotel room. It wasn't a horrible pizza but I just wasn't impressed. The crust was decent but I personally didn't like the sauce. I did like the sausage they used and I would probably come back here because they are about the only game in town unless you go to one of the chains. read more

Haven't been here in about a year. We were in town and hubs wanted pizza. On Thursdays they have an alfredo pasta and we ask for alfredo on the pizza instead of the red sauce. Tonight we were told no. The young lady taking the order was less than nice about it. I ordered the super sub - turkey and roast beef. I asked to sub ham for the turkey. She read back to me no roast beef but ham. I said no. Ham instead of turkey. We ordered to go and ran a quick errand. Food was hot and ready but my sandwhich was wrong. It had ham and turkey. No roast beef like she initially read back to me. She admitted it was her fault and they remade it. 15 minutes later, I got a new sandwhich and noticed after we left that I was charged $1.50 for ham. If I had known I would be charged to add ham I would have left the turkey because theres not much meat on it anyway. We've decided to continue going to SPC. Their staff is friendlier with no attitude and the order is always right. read more

The best sandwiches on highway 17. Yes. Get the large sauce. One sandwich big enough for two, though you won't want to share. Can't go wrong with the Italian, but all are good so you can't go wrong. The truth is, I can't get by the sandwiches, but all the food looks good. Enjoy! read more

A solid 3. We had a $40 gift certificate we wanted to use before it expired. It was super busy when we walked in. We were able to get a large meat lovers pizza, large sub turkey sub and small turkey sub with 92 cents left to spare. The wait for 40 mins for our order, which I thought was kind of long. The food was ok, nothing to rave about. I'm not a big fan of pizza. My mom said she thought it was just ok. The sub was good. It had a good portion of meat in it and it was bigger than I expected it to be. read more

No pictures of my sandwich or pizzas for some reason. Maybe because I changed phones and don't have local access to that photo anymore. But there's sandwiches are insanely delicious. I always get the super sub large with a side of jalapenos. Their bread is super soft with a crunchy outside and it's the perfect role for a sandwich. They load it with meats and veggies and the Tony secret special sauce is absolutely delicious to pour on top of your sandwich and just devour in your mouth. Definitely recommend them for their sandwiches read more

The pizza is ok but the Philly cheesesteak in the best in the area. Extra meat and fried onions, tastes like home.

The food is always good here. Definitely has a family owned type feel to it. Friendly staff and a very clean and warm establishment. As other comments have mentioned. You WILL wait for your food here. So just expect that upfront. It's part of the experience here so no need to bash them for it. Plenty of reviews state this so I don't feel bad for you if you come here in a hurry and have a bad experience because of the longer than average wait. The super sub is really good. And that means something coming from me because I am against paying for a simple sandwich that could be made at home. I tried it once on someone else's recommendation and it did not disappoint. read more

The pizza is horrible. The driest breadsticks that you could imagine! Driver asked for a tip making it awkward, pizza barely had pizza sauce just flimsy bread. When you come to Myrtle Beach, don't order from here unless you have money to waste and 2 gallons of water. read more

Good, but not fabulous to us, but it has been around since the 70's, as I recall. Take out orders are / were all that was allowed last time ( about two months ago ) we were there. Locals love it...Hence it's long tradition. I can remember eating there with my niece visiting from Cincinnati in the 70's when I was at CofC; home for a visit. My sister and her family absolutely love their takeout: After leaving the hospital recently...she chose Tony's for a family meal when I asked her what they would love the most! It was fabulous to my sister and family! Betts Maynard Nixon read more

Ok, first let me say we are from Chicago and have a lot of pizza options. How do you claim to be famous! Your crust and sauce are delicious. Cheese is good also. But the sausage, what is that! Little discs and your bacon tasted like Baco's. All in all a good pizza, just stick to the basics like cheese. read more

Always a favorite when visiting Georgetown. Their pizza and salad are amazing. The ranch dressing is to die for.

Best cheese steaks around. Don't sleep on the roast beef which is made in house. We picked up to go during the weirdness of COVID-19 and the staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Make sure to get extra Tony's sauce. Can't speak for the pizza but the subs are made from Amoroso rolls from Philly. Grab it on your way to the beach. Mama Mia. read more

My second visit here and as I remembered it's really good. We ordered the House Special and the Meat Lovers and both where very good. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Tony's was good! The restaurant is clearly very well liked in this area and it's easy to see why. I ordered for take out while in town for work. When I went in to pick it up i was instantly greeted warmly by a server cleaning up a table. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and attentive. My order was correct, the portions were large and the food tasted great. The cheese bread is my favorite. Holy mozzarella this was fantastic. Garlic, buttery, toasty and so much cheese! The salad was fresh and the house made Italian dressing was both creamy and vinegary. The spaghetti and marinara was fine- I wouldn't get it again. (But that cheese bread!) read more

Good pizza but dont let them fool you. Their customer service sucks since 5 years ago. I've called in an order twice now on separate days where I've gone to pick it up and they "don't remember the phone call". I know their number right because they are on my speed dial. I would take my business elsewhere but what else do we have. Also, what kind of greek place doesn't have spinach? read more

What happened? Throughout the years, I have unfailingly experienced top notch customer service from Tony's. However, my expectations have changed. Recently, I made an online order in hopes to skip the usual 7 o'clock wait. My order would be ready at 7:10, or so they said. When I went to pick it up, I was told that it wouldn't be done for 15-20 min. Looking around, I noted that other people were waiting. Giving some lenience, I sat down to wait as well. After 20 min had passed, my order number remained uncalled. I asked if it was about done, but was told that my waiting time had been pushed back another 15-20 min. My order was ready at the end of the additional 20 min. Regardless, fairly an hour of my time had been wasted. I was compensated with a free bottle of Tony's famous sauce, but that won't turn back time. read more

The Super Sub is the best sub in Georgetown. Highly recommend when they answer the phone or making an online order.

First time, pizza took an hour to get to us.... two young boys and three teenagers.... not known for patience. The pizza was not bad, but cheddar cheese? I was expecting more the price we paid. My soda was just carbonated water.... second time was pretty good. Last time was today and it was awful. My husband ordered a cold sub... it came hot. We told the waitress whomever put in order was wrong, she got really defensive, apparently it is the manager that took the order down. I asked for my pizza to be well done... it wasn't. Second sub came out, it still wasn't right. Still missing tomatoes.... and the meat was over cooked and bland. My husband fasted 24 hours for a procedure so he was looking forward to eating.... well not today. Tried talking to waitress abd she said my husband was an asshole. I'm sorry but that was the last straw. She didn't even give us our order right away. It was sitting there for 10 minutes. We were waiting 1/2 hour. Don't recommend. read more

Tony's Famous Pizza - They are the best! - Pizza Near Me - Georgetown, South Carolina

I stopped in on a Thursday evening to try the pizza. Several life long Georgetown friends told me Tony's had THE BEST pizza. Well, I'm sorry to say that this was and is no better than Pizza Hut, or Dominos etc. Which I will not go too either. The pepperoni was hard to find as each piece had only 2 pieces. There was no flavor to the sauce ( industrial canned) and the cheese tasted like?? I had 1 1/2 pieces because I was starving and left the rest. If you don't want to drive to Pawleys Island for pizza ( Gio's) you'd be better off buying a frozen pizza from the supermarket. The only reason it got one star was my waitress was nice and checked on me twice. My table was sticky and the place was pretty run down. I won't be back or recommend to anyone I know. read more

Terrible!!! Went there to grab lunch on my daughters softball break. There was no one in the restaurant. The lady who took our order was not friendly at all but we ordered 1 large house/pepperoni pizza, 3 waters and a coke. 45 minutes later I observe our pizza setting in the window for 15 minutes while 2 waitresses deliver drinks to other people. My husband asked about our pizza that had been sitting in the window for 15 minutes. I noticed the shorter waitress cursing and seeming very overwhelmed. She brought the pizza and it was jelled over and ice cold. I walked to the counter and told the lady that our pizza was horrible and we had been here almost an hour. She threw her hands in the air and said well we are busy. They did offer to remake it but honestly I was afraid to eat it for fear of repercussion. Never again!!!!!!! I had been warned not to go there. I guess I should have listened. By the way, the redo pizza had hamburger and ham which I specifically asked them to not put on. read more

Take this place for what it is... Best pizza in Georgetown and the surrounding area. It would probably get two stars if you compared it to New York or other big city pizza places but you cannot beat it around here. They have good sandwiches and subs. Some basic Italian dishes such as lasagna are also on the menu. You can get a beer with your meal here too. There is another location in Andrews but they don't offer as extensive of menu as the Georgetown location. read more
