I am giving it a one star just for the responsiveness of the photographer and her patience with the babies. That is the only thing deserving a half a star. Natalie is rude, and has gone out of her way to harass me wanting me to change my review. This is my true and honest experience, the photos were so bad I didn't even care to choose one, not only was the quality of the photos terrible, the editing was even worse, again, an amateur like me can do better. When you pose as a newborn photographer, I expect you to be good at your job, ask me questions to get to know me and what I'm looking for as you're supposed to be the professional, or so I thought. Next time, I will not prepay and tip before I see the final product. None of the pictures came out good to the point where I didn't even choose the ones I ended up with. My attempts to get a redo to try and salvage the relationship was fruitless. And to add salt to injury, Natalie was not receptive to constructive criticism. I wasn't going to lie and pretend that I liked the pictures. There goes my attempt to make my first Christmas cards. Run, don't walk away from this photographer. Taylor of Tay Lee Photographer has taken pictures for our family on two separate occasions. The…read morefirst was this past spring when we had a party for our daughter. It was the first time a lot of our friends and family were getting to see our six-week-old, and so I wanted a photographer there so that we could all enjoy the party and not worry about taking pictures and exchanging them later. Taylor was recommended to me by someone in my moms' group and she was really personable and quick to respond when I was inquiring about her services and firming up the time. I met her for the first time the day of the party and she was fantastic. She got so many pictures, but we almost didn't notice her. She was inconspicuous and down on the floor getting pictures of the children on their level and amazing photos of our friends and family holding our daughter in the most natural setting. She got pictures of everybody in addition to special details of the party decorations. My toddler son just loved her and she got some really fun pictures of him. We got an edited CD of the pictures as well as a password protected gallery a few weeks later and were very pleased. When it came time to take some milestone family photos this summer, I contacted Taylor again. She was able to book me at my requested appointment time within a week and together we chose a location (the Blue Trees on Allen Parkway). I let her know I needed a quick turnaround on the pictures ahead of time and yet again she delivered. The shoot itself was so much fun. She is so relaxed and has so much patience, more so than I'd seen with any other photographer that's done our family's pictures in the past. When my son started to get a little weary about 3/4 the way through, Taylor whipped out some bubbles and all the sudden he got a second wind. It's so nice that not only do I have some beautiful pictures, but some fun memories of the day. It was really important to me to have a variety of pictures and she delivered with a gallery of over 100 photos. I am thrilled with each one and so glad I went with her extra full CD add on to the package. Taylor is both professional AND creative. She's great to work with and delivers more than the standard family photos. They are truly special. Her fine art photography is gorgeous as well and she even manages to be a great event photographer. She can do it all. I highly recommend!

Well I'm glad I did because my maternity and newborn pictures turned out great! You can tell she has years of experience by the way she was handling our newborn. I can't believe she has 4 young kids and still have time to shoot multiple sessions a day on top of being very prompt at responding. While at her studio, she mentioned that she is looking for a space closer to the city. This will be better for us since she is a 1 hour drive away.
