I love this place!! Seriously one of the cheapest markets I have ever been to. They buy overstock…read moreor end of lot food and some of it is only there once. It is very much like the Grocery Outlet in the San Francisco Bay Area but there is only one of them. They have cheeses, meats, prepared salads in large quantities, fresh fruit and veggies, pastas, cookies, wine, teas. They are next door to an Aldi but as far as quality, Pomchou beats them hands down. They do not have non food items. Excellent accueil !

You can smell this open produce market from a ways away as it's fresh. We got the pomme candine and…read morethe apples were so fresh, crisp, and juicy that the kids enjoyed them like candy. Wish we could get these in the USA. I was also grateful to be able to get bags of Arugula and Baby Spinach for a euro each. Also, the tiny strawberries are the most delicious ever. Our youngest ate the entire basket in one sitting! Lots of different fruits and veggies to choose from, even though some are pricier than others. Right across from my favorite Eglise Notre Dame de Vincennes, so you can walk right over after Mass for a treat to go!
