Literally the most thorough dental cleanings you'll ever get here. The RDH's (registered dental…read morehygienists) are top notch. I got a nightguard that was competitively priced here. I also use it for my jiu jitsu classes as it is comfortable. Once you become a patient, booking simple appointments such as cleanings can be easily done through an online appointment system. They send emails to remind you to get a cleaning. I really appreciate those. Dr. Yazdan's cosmetic dentistry is excellent. Her IG is full of wonderful before and afters. If I'm ever in the market for veneers, she would be first on the list. Parking is easy and plentiful. I drive from central LA to Newport to get my dental cleanings. Once you get a cleaning here, other places don't suffice.

After spending 15 years at this dental office, seeing my amazing dental hygienist for cleanings…read moreevery 3 months, I had an encounter with the receptionist on Monday and have decided to discontinue future services. Because I was I was NOT ALLOWED to reschedule my appt for medial reasons and was told I would have to pay a cancellation fee of $105.00, I went ahead and had my teeth cleaned on Tuesday July 16, 2024 and took my dental hygienist a goodbye gift, as none of what happened had anything to do with her. I pay $145.00 per visit x 4 which is $580 per year. In any case, what occurred was on Sunday evening, I accidentally hurt my teeth while bleaching them had terrible shooting pains in my teeth, so I was in pain all night and left a voicemail message Monday morning at 4:41 a.m. literally begging the office to please reschedule my dental clean one week out so my teeth could recover from the bleaching, but depending on how they calculate one making such a request my 33hr+ notice was inadequate as I was told policy is that patients must give a 48 hr notice and I would be charged a cancellation fee of $105.00 if I didn't show up. Next, later in the day the receptionist told me that I could not be seen for my dental clean unless I had X-rays of my teeth because they did not have any current ones on file and I said, so just to clarify, you are telling me I MUST GIVE a 48 hr notice reschedule even with a medical condition and at the same time you are giving me a 24 hr notice to get X-rays to you? Fortunately, I had X-rays from another dental practice from Nov 22, 2022, that were taken 1 yr and 8 months ago, so I dropped everything I was doing and made calls and got the dental X-rays emailed to me and then called to get the email address to forward them to Dr. Yazdan's office but it felt like I was being blackmailed to pay for X-rays or pay a cancellation fee. I could not speak reason with the receptionist over the phone and was told the office manager was not working on Monday so I drove to the office to speak with Dr. Yazdan in person to ask if she was aware of the situation, but was told she was not available and the office manager could not be reached. When I told the receptionist it felt like blackmail to tell me I had to have the X-rays for my visit, she then completely back-peddled and claimed it was not for this visit but for the next visit, but she had never stated that! Had she stated that, I could have continued on my day and kept to my schedule and not had to get stressed about providing X-rays. So not knowing how my teeth would tolerate the cleaning or how much pain I would experience, I went to the office and had my teeth cleaned, paid them their $145.00 and asked for my medical records for the last 15 years. I also asked to be removed from email marketing and told the office this would be my last visit. I can't believe someone coming 4x a year for a dental clean, that has never missed one or cancelled one, to whom states they are having severe pain in their teeth and gives more than 24 hrs notice is treated as I was. Ok anyone in the OC got a dental hygienist they can recommend? چه غلطی داری می کنی؟ Dr. Yazdan, your comments below are incorrect. I never knowingly signed a contract agreeing to a 48 hr cancellation policy and even if I had, "medical conditions" are normally exempt same as if I had Covid you would not want me coming in, so why would you want someone in a dental chair screaming in pain just for a dental clean? Learn to evaluate and acknowledge facts Dr. Yazdan! November 22, 2022 to July 16, 2024 are not a 2 yr old X-rays! Additionally, Angela told me X-rays had to be within the last 3 years, however regardless of 2 or 3 years, you stating my X-rays were more than 2 yrs old is incorrect; and I have now attached the photo of the X-rays to which show the date and have proof of the email I sent to your office with the X-rays. Lastly, you were not a first hand witness to anything nor did you speak with me so most of your comments are quite inaccurate, coming from hearsay and there was no yelling in your office, please don't make me laugh! پرسیدن عیب نیست٬ ندانستن عیب است porsidan e'yb nist, nadānestan e'yb ast "He that nothing questions, nothing learns." Literally, "The shame is not in asking; shame is in not knowing."
