This place is a joke. Drivers were parked very respectably for other customers. The pilot cars did not stay at the truck stop with the loads. There were no problems caused whatsoever!! There was tons and tons of room for other rigs to park there, even closer to the building. Do they not realize how much business they pushed away. I actually got injured in their parking lot this morning and only because I had to re-locate my driver. Had it not been necessary to do that I would have never taken the fall I did and end up in urgent care. I encourage all trucks and pilot cars to boycott this establishment because of their dislike of wind energy blades. I know, I will never give them another penny of my hard earned money and I already know of many people who feel the same! Your a freakin TRUCK-STOP!!!! They deserve a negative 5 stars in my book! Oh, they had no signs posted in the parking lot either. This is what the drivers woke up to. They didn't even have the courtesy to talk to them in person. Papa Johns, Valero gas station, a&w.. Tonkawa Trading post is pretty good if you're looking for options and easy quick service.

They have several restaurants including an A&W and a Papa John's. The A&W even has a drive-thru. This Trading Post has plenty of gas pumps. I had some bad luck at this establishment. This is one of the emails I sent. There has been no resolution and it has been 4 weeks since the mistake. I contacted Valero and they continue to put it back on the store management to resolve. I guarantee I would not go to this extent or any extent to make false claims. Just saying make sure to count your change. And if you have an issue, do not expect any degree of professional customer service. Here is the email which explains what happened: Hello, I am trying to reach the upper management of this establishment. I have an issue that is not being resolved at the store level. I have searched the website to find a number to call. This involves a mistake at the register in which I was shorted $40. I called within two hours of the transaction in hopes of reviewing the surveillance tape. I was on the road and out of state or would have returned. I have called five times and spoken to the manager, Molly Oder, who said she gave me the correct change. I am asking that the video be reviewed before it is deleted. I stopped in on my way back through and spoke with the person on duty. He said they might look at it and I might be sent a check. At this point, I am losing faith in anything happening. I paid with a $100 bill and was given back a $50 and some ones on top. I thought the twenties were in there, but didn't count it as there were people stacking up behind me and I have never been shorted like that so my guard was not up. I have the receipt and I see that $50 was entered as the bill I paid with, which doesn't make sense since I was given back a $50 with the ones on top. I am trying to go above the clerks now to give the store an opportunity to fix the mistake. I would be very grateful for a name and number to discuss the issue. A look at the video will clear up whether I gave a $100 and which slots the change was pulled from. The further away we get from the date it happened, the less likely it will be resolved. $40 is a ridiculous amount for which to go to small claims court. I feel like this could be resolved so easily, yet now it is turning into a thing. I haven't left any reviews on Yelp, Yellow Pages, or Facebook because I don't feel it would be appropriate until I have exhausted the channels available to me. I don't want to be a jerk, but $40 is too much to overlook. The night that I called, the person on duty told me there was no overage on the drawer. When I came back through, the same person told me the drawer was only over $10 for the whole day. That is why the video is going to be the only way to tell what it going on. Where to even begin, picture this, 6 grown adults walk into Tonkawa Trading post to casually purchase lunch. 3 people would like Papa Johns, the other three A&W. Papa John's employee took forever to come to the counter, we just hung out like creepers, it's 12:30 pm, so lunch time. He comes to the counter and says "I can't open the cash register without a manager." Umm okay, we will wait, the other three head over to A&W. The picture of pleasantness greets us with a warm "it's going to be awhile if you order food." We order two simple meals off the menu. Go over to the disgusting pop counter and of course no medium lids. She comes out to fill her own drink, notices there are no lids and go gets one from the back for her to go order, never refilled the lids. They told every single person the same thing about waiting awhile. I tried to not be grossed out by the boys long hair that was down, but silently thought to myself that I make all my culinary students put up their hair no matter their gender. Anyways, got our food after a VERY short wait. So I guess she could have just told us she wasn't interested in taking our order. Food 7/10 not bad at all. No complaints. Meanwhile the Pizza crew had met up with the check out clerk who must have skipped the training day on pleasantness and customer service. It is evident, she hates everyone and everything. While they formed a line and waited for their turn, grumpy gills throws her hands up to pizza purchaser #1 and says "you ready." I'm shocked she could even see straight after her eyes rolled back into her head so far from being so disgusted with having to check someone out. After giving him $3 worth of quarters because she was "outta dollars" we now know where the national chain shortage is coming from. Pizza purchasers #1 and #2 are a couple, so they opted to pay together. Papa Johns employee dropped their first piece and didn't have something else on hand so he opted to give them a free slice. He was trying! Pizza purchaser explained that Big Papa said this was a free slice and there went her eyes again! She exclaimed "well that's my paycheck so I'll check" then promptly stomps to the end of the counter to ask Big Papa, he of course was busy so she just went with it. Terrified of her attitude the couple said you don't even have to bag that, so they could just exit quickly, would you believe that even made her mad too? I'm hoping that her eyes will be able to work again and she can get whatever is stuck up her ass out of it. Maybe her and the A&W girl are sisters and both hate their jobs?
