Whether you like this massage may depend on your personal preferences, but let me explain why I was disappointed. - The massage tables are separated only by curtains, so are not that private, and chatting in the back room is disturbing. - The massage tables do not have cutouts for when you are face down. - The massage style is very firm but with really fast strokes, which I find more painful than relaxing. - The massage giver seems friendly and well-meaning but speaks poor English; it's useless to explain changes you want or problems you have, so I absolutely discourage anyone with an injury from going. - These are not anatomy-trained therapists, and part of the practice puts awkward pressure on the spine and manual stretching to the neck that has the potential to do harm. + The oil with eucalyptus is nice. - The massage is relatively expensive for what you get (90 euro for 90 min, compared to less than 80 at other establishments with actual licensed massage therapists), and cash is required upfront, which is inconvenient and suspicious in the Netherlands. In all, too bad, since the location is so convenient. read more
