Can't remember his name but he spoke like 8 languages. We asked for recommendations for local beers and he absolutely did not disappoint -- everything he suggested was spot on. You can tell he really knew the menu and the local brews. We tried both of their soups, and wow. The goulash was probably one of the better ones my husband has had in his life -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. I can definitely see this being a great space for a get-together with friends or even just a casual happy hour. The flavor was good and the meat tasted as if it had been charcoal grilled; however, the meat was not that tender. I believe that the meat had been cooked/grilled on a previous day and warmed up. Although the Geschnetzeltes had a good flavor, it was not warmed long enough and even some of the mushrooms seemed cool in the middle rather than having reached the proper temperature. The salad that came with the meal was tasty and consisted of mixed greens, potato salad, red cabbage, and cucumber salad. The two different ladies who served me were nice and even helped me move some of the plants so that I could get nice pictures of their stained-glass windows. If I can figure out how to post pictures here, I will.
