I loaded the chair up and drove to the Bert Kouns locations, explained my concern to the manager. The price tag now says $349.99 and I think she could easily see that I did not mistake that price for $108. She immediately said she would sell it to me for the sale price and refunded the original transaction and did a new one at the sale price. I was very pleased that there was no hassle or attitude. I even bought some more plants. This is how a store should do business. This was my original review: I cannot get anyone on the phone at the satellite location on E. Bert Kouns or their main store. 2 weeks ago, I was at their E. Bert Kouns location and purchased a large number of plants, dirt, and a white plastic wicker rocker that was marked $108. Nice young man scanned a tag but it was for a brown one so he got a ticket off a white one and scanned it. We discussed that it was $108.00 Their credit card and signature machine was stationed at a distance so I couldn't see it properly, but I knew about what I'd spent and signed away. Cleaning out my purse yesterday I came across the receipt and saw that I was charged $262.49 for the $108.00 rocker!!! I never would have paid that for it. The tags ALL said $108.00. Before I load it up and take it back for a refund, I wanted to talk to someone about this. I don't know if they have since shut down for being "non-essential" of if they're just not answering their phones. I am keeping an open mind until I can discuss this with someone and hope to find out that it was just an innocent mistake. I will update whenever I can get more info. I really don't want to get out in the chaos unless I have to.

I'd like to have some kind of badge or sticker to wear so other people who feel as passionately as I do about just how impressive their combined knowledge is and how very entertaining they make this plant farm would understand that they should talk to me IMMEDIATELY about how brilliant it is. It's like a potted plant history of the world - polite and filthy, polished and raw, social life, pure delight, full-sun, delusion, hope, the wistful ennui wrought by time, frankincense and fertilizer, chemicals, storytelling, flowers, food, childhood memories, history, the future, and magical talent. The frame I mentioned earlier was priced very low. The girls at the counter were very honest as to why so cheep. They pointed out a flaw and asked if I was still interested in purchasing it. It was very minor and hardly noticeable but I was very grateful for their honesty. I still bought the frame because it was very beautiful and too good of a deal to pass up.

It's sort of like an ongoing garage sale that never stops and is constantly introducing new items into the mix. I think this is a great place to shop for Christmas, for the unique gift that you will ultimately discover for that unsuspecting someone. They do accept credit/debit cards.
