Their system got glitchy so the attendant manually open the arm but there were cars that went ahead of us on the other lanes instead of us. When we got to the car wash we just got the basic wash instead of the highest option wash, no tire shine etc. This place is a rip off. Somebody got the wash we paid for! The two guys working were really friendly. They seem to do a thorough job with the sprayer on the front and the back of the car to get the bugs off. We have been traveling, driving, for about 8 hours so we had a lot of bugs on the front. It's a traditional drive-through car wash, where the machine hooks your car and pulls you through while you're in neutral. After the two days sprayed the front of the back, then the drive-through car wash, one of the guys came around the other side and wiped down the mirrors and the sides. We actually thought this was pretty good. And they do have a monthly unlimited car wash for $19.95.

I give the women working there five stars, and a raise if I were in charge. However, the single woman working there was tasked with making sandwiches for both people in the lobby of the store and in the drive-thru, so she had an impossible task. She needed to make 12 sandwiches at the same time. She took it in stride but it meant people standing in front of her had to consistently wait for their sandwiches to be made every time another car pulled up through the drive thru, since they were prioritized. I ended up waiting 15 minutes for a sandwich, and had it been busy I'm sure I could have waited longer. The car wash is also a mess. Rather, I don't know what the car wash is like because I couldn't use it. They have both a touchless and brush (touching?) car wash. However, for both, the payment machines can't take cash, or credit cards. I guess to pay for them you can go back inside the gas station and buy them, but once you have waited in line for five minutes, getting out of line, going into the store, and getting back in line, and then getting a wash is incredibly inconvenient. They really need to get that fixed. Overall, this "oasis" is more like a mirage than an actual bastion of excellence. It seems like it will be great but the implementation is really lacking.
