Or a can of snuff...which I imagine that you don't want. I understand why they do this, with "swipe fees" and other transaction costs. The employees are always very friendly and I stop here quite a bit. That pizza in the glassed-in warmer on the counter next to the register kind of freaks me out, though. It might actually be the best pizza ever, but I'd bet against that. And I want to reiterate that you should avoid the general vicinity when Pace High School adjourns for the day...the traffic is crazy and there should be loudspeakers that play the Benny Hill theme song at high volume to accompany the craziness.

However some of their sandwiches were expired so after I got one, I had to trade it out when I saw the date was passed. They are better than they used to be at opening the second register, but the line has to be 6-8 deep before they feel compelled to act. This seems to be the norm for TT, versus Murphy's or Circle K, where the staff actually seems to give a shake about your convenience. And seriously? I wish convenience stores would quit selling lottery scratch-off tickets. Every time that I am stuck behind some jackass that is asking the cashier stupid crap like "What number is the bingo ticket on?" I want to leg sweep the customer to the floor and punt them into the parking lot. Some consideration for other humans would help here.

When this place first reopened, their gas prices were routinely 2-3 cents higher than the Tom Thumb down the road, but now they are the same. There is a deli/lunch counter in here, run by the (ex-?) manager of the Local Yokel over in East Milton. I haven't had any food from this location yet, and I don't think that I will until they do something about the awful stench. I don't know if it's because the building was closed up for a year and a half, but it smells like there's an open sewer line inside. A truly funky smell. Too, the food part of the business closes at 4, which is retarded. That's about 2 hours too late to capture the lunch crowd and 2 hours too early to lure in people getting off of work and going home. I'm not in charge, so I don't get to set their hours, but this decision makes absolutely no sense. If you are going west on Berryhill, getting out of here is like flipping a coin about whether or not to shoot a bird at Death. The traffic can be horrible, and some people are doing 50 mph while others are driving 20 mph. I've actually made a right out of here, turned into the hospital, and then pulled back out to go west. I dislike waiting for 10 minutes for a break in traffic that much and am very aware of my mortality.

We were the only people in the store that night, so we had fun chatting with the lady in the store. She pointed out Chi Chi's chocolate malt mix, which, for a girly girl drink in the midst of this furnace called Florida, is pretty dang good when mixed with a ton of ice and a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a blender.
