After reading the scathing reviews of the UHAUL nearby, I was scared to risk the same treatment…read morewhen needing a truck for our big move! When I booked the appointment I was surprised how polite and enthusiastic the gentleman who answered the phone was. Later on when I went to inquire how much a dolly would be to rent he eagerly told me, "Oh, we can include that for you free of charge! I will go ahead and notate that on your account right now!" Well alright! My father used this company before and he highly recommended them. They were MORE expensive than UHAUL but I didn't want to take the chance of our reserved truck being given away or given a downsized truck. The customer service so far was superb and with my father's recommendation I was feeling pretty confident in my choice. The day was not without its hiccups unfortunately. Some customer dropped off the rental truck and blocked ENTRANCE and no one could get a truck OUT until the keys were found. As a result the truck arrival was an hour later than expected. My movers (my willing friends) were laid back about it and just feasted on donuts in the meanwhile. No biggie. My husband told me that the employees were *ALREADY* familiar with our order when he arrived and the gentleman making the handoff said, "And it looks like it was noted that you are in need of a dolly. Let me get that for you." without even being prompted! Later on I noticed we were charged for the optional coverage and insurance feature. I made a phone call and the Account Manager Megan quickly rectified the mistake. Our process with Enterprise wasn't the smoothest, but overall I was happy with them.

The manager, Manny, helped us through the rental process and made suggestions (unlimited mileage) that ultimately saved us a bundle. When we arrived to picked up the van, Dom assisted us at pick up. It was a quick and easy process. He was great. Then, Manny stepped up again and moved his car to let us park in the shade. If you need a truck, I couldn't recommend any other place. Well done Enterprise Truck Rental!! And THANK YOU!

The guy checked the odometer and gas tank then I was on my way. Only reason for a 4 star is because no one was at the desk, and I had to wait about 5 minutes for assistance.

The was the faultiest and most reliable vehicle I've ever driven. I loaded the truck and left the morning of the 27th. I stopped in SC before it started to get dark and cold and was able to turn the truck back on. I stopped in at the welcome To NC rest stop to use the facilities. I was in a rest area for 5 minutes at most. I came back, the truck wouldn't start. 3 states. The truck didn't make it 3 states. By this time it's getting dark and cold. I call budget rental roadside assistance. They said someone would be calling me to let me know when they would arrive. It took 45 minutes to receive that call, when I did they informed me they wouldn't arrive for another HOUR AND ELEVEN MUNUTES!!!! When the battery was jumped and I was back on the road over 2 hours later. Almost immediately after leaving the rest area I was pulled over in NC FOR HAVING NO TAIL LIGHTS. I can't make this up. I did not receive a ticket bc the truck was a rental and it was the holidays but I was shaken up, frustrated, and EXTREMELY behind schedule. Once I got to emporia, Va I was pulled over AGAIN for not having any tail lights. I looked all around the truck there was no way to turn them on manually. The trucks lights were just out. This was not only a product issue, it's a service issue and quite frankly A SAFETY ISSUE. I called budget of course since it was after hours I received no help and decided to get a hotel for the night to prevent another run in with police and just start back in the morning. When I was home and all settled in a couple days later I contacted budget to tell them about my experience. I was expecting a refund or a portion of a refund or a discount code or SOMETHING anything for the HUGE inconvenience of dealing with them, their roadside, and customer service. I didn't even receive an apology. Budget showed a disgusting lack of customer service. I got off the phone with no customer resolution to this. Cut to today when I checked my email BUDGET SENT ME A BILL. They are charging me for service call AS WELL AS RECHARGING THE BATTERY!!!!! The audacity of this company to attempt to get any more of my hard earned money when I am owed a refund for renting this unreliable truck in the first place. I will NEVER rent from budget and I will make sure nobody I knows ever does as well until we can at least come to some type of resolution this madness.

Rusk Truck in GA was the first service center that repaired the truck back in December 2021,…read moreThe reason why the truck was taken to Rush truck was a result of it losing power when driving it. I was skeptical with repairing the DPF system due to huge repair cost and I was leaning towards taking out the DPF system completely. After a long conversation with the service team in GA, they advise it's to my best interest to fix it and I was reassured rest of mind with a year of warranty on parts and Labor if the same problem occurs. It was not stated that the DPF system must fail on its own before the warranty can be acknowledged. Mind you, a system doesn't fail by it's self unless there's a reason for its failure. After the repairs was completed, we got the truck back from Rush Truck DEC 29, 2021. Due to the holiday, the truck wasn't operating until Jan 3, 2022. From that moment till early April, we reported the truck been used for 3 months and some days. Ran into the same problem of it losing power and the closest Rush dealership was Jacksonville FL. as the company driver lives in Orlando FL. Rush Truck Jacksonville had the Truck for One week when we reported same issue that the truck started losing power again. After a claimed diagnostic of the truck, they reported the truck has a bad DPF system and quoted me $7,665.11 to fix the truck, please see attached invoice. From the moment I called their attention to them quoting me exactly what was fixed back in December which is still under a year warranty as the truck was barely used for 3 months and some days. I was told they would further investigate the history of the truck and parts which is under warranty. After 2 days of research, I was told by Rush Truck Jacksonville, the DPF system is good and it appears new, that they found a piece of tape on the sensor screen restricting the air flow. The tape was removed, and all is fine. they claimed a road test was done and no signs of it losing power anymore. THIS MAKES ME QUESTION THEIR CREDITBILITY............WHY QUOTE ME $7,665.11 OUT OF THE BET claiming my DPF system was originally the problem. Until I mentioned I was under warranty then the story changed. My driver picked up the truck when I was told the truck is back to normal. Mind you, he came all the way from Orlando FL for the truck. After an hour of driving the truck from Jacksonville to Orlando the truck started losing power again. I instructed him to take the truck back to Rush Center, but they were closed at the time. We called the Rush Center in Orlando but was told they can't take the truck in until 2 weeks. Finally got the truck back to Jacksonville and I questioned them why they would give the truck back to me when it still has same problem. After weeks of back and forth they told me they ran another diagnostic with Hino and the problem is now the injector filter that's the cause of DPF failure. So, if that was the case because originally quote me for DPF system without mentioning injector was bad, the response I received from the service Manager named Chucks was, they ASSUMED that was the problem. Now you are quoting me to fix DPF system and injectors. I'm not confidence on the legitimacy of their business and the problem. All I sense, was Rush not wanting to acknowledge the warranty and looking for ways to extort their customers. I was only given a credit of $1000 to fix what I paid $9k + to fix less than four months ago. Placing on the current invoice saying the DPF system didn't fail by itself, obviously a system won't fail unless theirs a cause. IF the injector had went bad from the first time Rush Jacksonville confirmed the truck was fine, then I blame them for allowing us to pick the truck without proper checks. I disagree to pay another $10k + to fix the truck that's why I picked up the truck from them., wasted weeks of my time and lost a lot of money in business due to their dishonesty and in competencies. At least I will expect to be charged just for the injector if they claim that's bad than they are charging me for both DPF system and Injector, I was forced to put my truck for sales due to Rush. WHY SHOULD I PAY RUSH ALMOST $22,000 in 4 months to fix same issue? It's very unreasonable and unprofessional of the repair shop. All they do is extort customers.
