And, they happened to have one in the window for about $45...can you say, "Sold!". I bought it and took it home. But, when I got home and tried it out the record didn't spin; unbeknownst to me, when I was transporting it the belt had slipped off. I didn't know it at the time, so I brought it back in and they took it and said they'd make it right...no questions asked. That's when they told me about the belt. The point is, they took it back in to work on it, and said they'd make it right without any questions. That's service and professionalism! I am so glad I purchased from this little store. I turned my Marshall TSL up to 10 one night and literally burned it up (dimmed all the lights in the house, heard a pop, no sound, then smelled smoke). He had to clean up the board inside due to carbon deposits, replaced a power transformer, soldered in a number of capacitors, etc. and re-tubed it. He charged me about the same as if I bought the parts and did it myself. He fixed a couple of Vox Tonelab effects pedals for me. The last repair (12/2025) was on my Marshall JVM 410H that had a lot of noise. The tubes were fine, so he had to go over every component, every circuit, to eventually find it to be a $3 capacitor. What he charged me was way under what his time was worth, it plays beautifully now. He even texted me this morning to make sure the amp played well last night. Kevin doesn't just fix the problem, he goes over the entire amp, cleans all the electronics, even wraps up the freeking cord like it came new. I won't take my amps anywhere else.
