We ordered: - Molletes.- there quite good. - Huevos motuleños.- good but the peas were undercooked. - Chilaquiles.- ok. The place is very nice so you should come during the day to appreciate it and the breakfast was good and there are many options.

The scenery is beautiful and there's peacocks, swans, and a beautiful grey crowned crane. The crane is funny af and chased the peacocks and children, I give it a 10/10. We started with soup - I had the sopa de Flor de calabaza and it was delicious. Also, highly recommend the cheese bread from the bread basket. We continued by splitting the shrimp tacos which were delicious and even more delicious were the seafood crepes. Loved them. We finished with cherries jubilee - also very tasty but wow did they take forever. The service was generally very good but these took foreverrrr. Definitely tasty though. This is a great spot to come for delicious food and scenery and a fabulous place for a quince, wedding, or primera comunión.

Don't forget to try the gras hoppers, yes they are on the menu and quite good. The drinks were good, especially the margaritas. I walked to the tranquil downtown Coyoacan area and saw La Casa de los Tacos was open, so porque no? The girls were so nice. And they were open with a few diners inside. It was kind of empty and chill, but the ambiance was festive and exciting due to the music and activities going on in el parque nearby. I was so hungry I wanted to eat everything, so I got the tacos con chapulines (HELLA FIRE) and a side plate of arroz con platanos. I also ordered a beer, but that never came out. Their salsas are hella good. Especially that insane truffle one, who knew! It was SO good. The pan fried platanos were so delicious and the perfect little craving I needed for a sweet treat afterwards. They accept cash and card, and make sure you tip you extranjero/turista!

Big plus - they have English menu and the portions are extremely big and probably enough for two people to share. Each meal comes with the soup, rice or pasta, and the main course. The service is truly friendly and the two buss boys are exceptional. I've never seen anyone working so hard, but at the same time remain so friendly and enthusiastic as those guys. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting. To be honest, I have not had the cold drinks, so I cannot comment on those only because I had bad experience in the past in Mexico in general NOT at this place specific. Just be careful, do not drink anything for which you cannot confirm the source of the water including vegetables like lettuce and tomatoes because they might of been washed with the regular tap water. Due to the lack of Spanish, I was unable to confirm what water they use for those purposes and therefore I can't comment on quality of those drinks and their salads. Overall, I will come back again and again. This place is simply amazing.
