She attempts to justify this by stating that the appointments are 30 min long and so the additional psychotherapy insurance code is justified even though no psychotherapy is provided. Here is a direct quote from our interactions. "All follow up appointments are 30 minutes in duration , so a therapy code is added to those appointments." Therapy isn't about how long the appoint is it is about providing therapy. If you go to her please make sure you verify the billing and that you are not being taken advantage of and charged for therapy where no therapy is provided.
