We stopped in here just for fun on our way back to the Twin Cities. We enjoyed ourselves poking around in this place. I've never seen so much "Filson" brand before in my life, and my favorites involved red and black plaid - one a wool cap with wool fleece-lined ear flaps and the other a wool flannel button-down shirt. Yes, they were a bit pricey, but supposedly, their quality is everlasting, heirloom quality. Myriad hand guns, rifles, shot guns, hunting and buck knives, fishing rods and reels and all those fishing lures! Camping gear, hunting boots, kitschy decorations, Smartwool socks, leather/deer hide/goat hide gloves, long under wears, traditional demin jeans (Carhart, Levis, Lee, Wrangler), kids clothing, some ladies clothing. And, most importantly for my companion, MN grown, wild harvested and hand-parched wild rice!

This store has all sorts of coins, antique furniture & decorative items as well as jewelry. I was there for the jewelry. They have many estate pieces that are all meticulously documented and tagged so you can actually see the prices. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering many of the pieces are vintage. The owner was available without being pushy. When I asked to see a particular item, she was very accommodating and then would leave me alone while I pondered other pieces. God I loathe pushy sales people and there was none of that going on here. I finally decided on two lovely vintage pieces that did not leave me penniless. I was pleased. My only complaint is this establishment is 562 miles from my home. Dang it!
