From start to finish, Brandon made it so easy. My now husband and myself are both awkward introverts that don't take photos, so it was really important for us to find someone easy going who could help us with everything. I came across Brandon's IG page, since I'm sure we all know how algorithms work when you start searching all things wedding, and his elegant and timeless take on photos really stood out to me. We actually entered a contest to win a free engagement shoot and were thrilled to be chosen! As soon as we spoke on a zoom call, I immediately felt like he was someone who I wanted to be with us for our big day. He is so professional, easy to work with, knows what he's doing and SO EFFICIENT. We did so good on time for our wedding day!!! I was so happy to not be rushed and was really able to be in the moment. I can't say enough good things about him. All I know is that I'm obsessed with the photos I got back and if you're looking for a photographer to capture your big day, you really should book Brandon for a seamless photo timeline.

The shots were all done quickly so me and the groomsmen were able to just chill out and sip on some beers more often haha. Highly recommend,  as they rolled with the punches from drunk photo requests from guests, change of plans, or family moving equipment, so very grateful. Thanks Brandon and Bryan.

I like to reserve reviews divisible by "100" for "special places." This is my 1,300th review (at…read moreleast as of today and without some mysteriously getting deleted as has happened on occasion), so I wanted the review to be SPECIAL... reserved for an experience that was perfect or nearly perfect in every way. The 1300th review goes to Brianna Caster & Co. Photography/Shy Hearts Studios. They very recently photographed my daughter's wedding, and the photographs, and the quality of the photographs, are truly stunning. Much like Jill W's review, I am the mother of the bride, and even further like Jill W, my daughter and her now husband reside in New York but got married out here (at Sierra La Verne specifically, another Wedgewood Wedding property). To say that it was a bit of a challenge to coordinate all this long distance is an understatement, but thanks to a great deal of perseverance, determination and people who take pride in their wedding-related profession(s), it all came together beautifully. I haven't figured out if Brianna Caster has moved on from Shy Hearts to her own photography studio, or if she still goes by Shy Hearts, but my daughter initially consulted her directly (through Wedgewood) and spoke to her at length over numerous conversations. My daughter was so excited by how thorough Brianna appeared, not to mention, they spoke the same language as to what the photographic goals were. My daughter even stated to me, "She totally understands what I want" and even felt an emotional connection with her. A few months after she booked the wedding date, however, my daughter was informed by Brianna that she would be unable to photograph my daughter's wedding due to the impending birth of her first child. My daughter was devastated. However, Brianna spoke to her and promised her replacement would be just as caring and thoughtful and in tune with what my daughter's goals were. She said "Cara" is just as talented. My daughter reluctantly said okay, and she and her fiance' took their chances by having their engagement photo shoot with Cara to see how it'd go. My daughter and (now) son-in-law chose a variety of those photos, put them in an album, which then became their wedding day sign-in book, so I guess she liked them!! Then, fast forward another 4 months, Cara reappeared for their wedding, along with another photographer, "Rachel," and the rest is history. EVERYTHING TURNED OUT BEAUTIFULLY. For the 1,004 photos that were received...... and ONLY THREE WEEKS after the wedding I'll add, the styling, the backdrops, the quality, the posed shots, the unposed / natural shots, and the colors in these photos turned out gorgeous. They are as close to PERFECT as one could get. I am having a huge problem whittling the picture choices down..... I'm now with less than 500 that I can't live without. Can I make an album with just less than 500? :-) I think I need to whittle it down a bit more, but howwwwwwwwwww? They are all just so wonderful. So, the bottom line is this.... No matter where you live, if you get married in Southern California, use THIS photography studio. While Brianna is the leader of the pack, you can trust whichever photographer she sends you. They really know what they are doing, and for something as important as wedding photos, you will WANT what this studio produces. Simply gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful. Sheer perfection.

I could not be happier with how my photos turned out, they are beautiful! My significant other absolutely LOVES them. He said, "She really captured your essence." I could not agree more. We want to hire Brianna soon to do some photos of the two of us. I highly recommend Brianna for any photos you may need. She is a joy to work with and so super nice, too.

After looking through his work on Instagram and reading…read morethe great reviews on Yelp, we decided to choose him as the photographer for our wedding on November 2025 at Five Crowns. We were very impressed by his professionalism and talent. Since we're not used to taking professional photos, he gave clear directions and made us feel comfortable on our big day. Turnaround time for the edited photos was quick and we're very happy with them. We're thankful to have him as our photographer and will recommend him to anyone that asks.

From the beginning, he was very responsive and communicative about his services, expectations and things to consider for the big day. As someone who was planning her own wedding and did not have a coordinator, I very much appreciated his guidance and wisdom since he has so much experience with shooting weddings! He was very understanding and patient when it came to details regarding my timeline (which I sent to him only a week before the event). On the day of, we were running late in the morning, but Justin showed up early and even kindly stayed 20 minutes later than scheduled to make sure we could squeeze in all the group pictures that we wanted. Also, to both of our surprises, my uncle showed up with a camera, but Justin was very understanding and accommodating about the matter and made sure both he and my uncle were able to capture shots without getting in each other's ways. Justin did such a wonderful job positioning my husband and me for shots. We did not really come with any ideas in mind, but Justin had such a wide array of poses, both direct and candid, that we absolutely loved. He also did such a great job showcasing both of us individually and fluffing my train/highlighting the beauty of my wedding dress! Andrew, his son and the second photographer, was also so sweet and helped make sure the full effect of my veil was captured on camera. I am also so appreciative that they went out of their way and captured some special moments via video for us to have (we did not have a videographer). Overall, Justin and his team are extremely friendly, professional and flexible with the best possible attitude and careful attention to detail. I cannot believe the sheer amount of pictures that I received from the wedding day and how much time it must have taken them to carefully touch up and edit each and every single photo. Most of my pictures were taken indoors, but the lighting in the photos is immaculate. Truly, I am so grateful to have hired Justin and his team for my special day, and I would not hesitate to book and recommend him for any future photography needs.

You know a photographer seriously wants to capture the best pictures of your baby if they want you…read moreto come back when baby is fed, well slept, and happy. For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. Overall I loved the photos! Thank you again for the awesome and kind experience!!!
