It's kind of an odd shopping center. The Northern end of the strip is newer and more updated, including Total Wine and Party City. LA Fitness is tucked on the Southern end behind Old Navy. This end is apparently the last to be renovated but truly the inside looks like any other LA Fitness. They have tons of cardio equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers and a room full of bikes. Their have tons of weight machines and free weights, you just might have neighbors on each side of you if you go at the busy times (between 7-9 and right after work). This location has a pool! Not every club has one, but this club does and they also have a whirlpool. Swimming isn't really my thing, but I have a friend who loves swimming and hated that her local LA didn't have one. This club also has racquetball and basketball courts. I'm not sure how the program works or if it's all pick up games, but I think you're getting the idea that this is a larger club. I have not been heavily marketed to for a personal trainer, which is amazing in and of itself. LA clearly pushes that program and at literally every other club, I would constantly be marketed to and "Would you like a free assessment?" just to be called every other day as a follow up. I know it's a part of it, but it got to be intrusive at other clubs! I can appreciate their laid back tone here. Zumba: go on Wednesday and take Adrienne's class. Her music is not just the traditional Zumba music, which makes it way more fun! Her class is a little more challenging than others I've taken here, but just because she has fancy footwork. It's a great workout and a lot of fun! Locker rooms are a good size and have saunas. Overall, you can't complain about this place because you really get the value from the low monthly price.

Truth Fitness is my 1st experience where I got a sculpted workout tailored to my body type. It's professional yet flexible for my schedule. I knew I would need someone who kept me personally accountable without bullying me into fitness. I got lucky because Vincent is intuitive & patient in a way that doesn't let me wimp out. The routine starts the same; few minutes of cardio to get my heart rate going....then we move around the gym rotating a variety of new focused exercises. He shows me a move & tells me how many reps to do. If I can exceed that number he challenges me to add a few more; if I'm about to fall out he slows me down. No risk for catastrophic muscle failure.... Worth every penny from a girl that would rather buy champagne before being introduced to Truth!

Integrating to a system that allows me to schedule tennis, massages etc as well as scan into the club would make things more convenient. I don't have traditional car keys so having to carry a single tiny card with me can be a bit frustrating.
