We have had them come out twice in the last month - we have two units and two handlers (two-story house). Nothing can ever be repaired, which I find very suspicious. The tech seems nice, but when we first called to inquire on their service to our upstairs unit, they told us they needed to replace our Goodman A/C unit "with the exact same thing you have" only to come back the next day and find they replaced it with a Tuttokool unit. And the second time the came out (for the other unit), they said the handler and the ac unit BOTH had to be replaced, for $8500. I called to inquire why the replaced the old Goodman brand ac unit with Tuttokool, and they just stated that they ac unit was outdated and the one we had was no longer current with new compressor laws. Plausible, but weird. They didn't see any problem in how the presented the words "replacement", and I probably should have voiced a concern that the replacement would be the exact same brand and look. But, alas - I did not and that's probably on me. I know the house is 20 years old, but - what the chances both break within the same month and now the second unit and handler have to be replaced? Service response time is great, but I am not convinced they are being truthful to all their customers.

Despite my location being a bit outside of their service area (north of Tampa), they accommodated me and even gave me an appointment after hours (6pm and later). This flexibility was immensely appreciated. Jairo was the main person who responded to my inquiry, while many other companies just had secretaries or robots respond to my inquiry. Being a Yelp user for many years, I know how to sift through companies that care more about volume than their customers. Jairo was honest, fair, and incredibly kind. Some companies would've given me a run for my money, playing on my lack of knowledge about outlets and what not. Jairo did nothing of the sort. He let me know that there was one main GFI that was controlling the rest, and helped me make an informed decision before deciding to replace it. He did the replacement in a matter of 10 minutes, and he even helped me remove a lightbulb that was far outside of my reach so that I could take it to Lowe's for a swap. Ricky gave me an extremely fair estimate - 2 months previously, I had received an estimate from a different business that quoted me for double the cost that Air Bros were offering. Couple other things - scheduling and permits: I thought I would need to pull permits for this job, but their business handled it directly for me! And Air Bros was able to schedule me within a week for an estimated 6 hour job - when my HVAC system finally failed a day after the estimate, I was able to call back and ask to reschedule the replacement for a day sooner! Finally, I can't say enough about the great service - their team came in, they were quick, efficient, and clean, even when it started raining halfway through the replacement. They had drop cloths to make sure there were no scratches or wet tracks in the house - they cleaned the walls and floors extensively before leaving. Even when the owner came to give me an estimate, he brought slippers so that he wouldn't track any dirt in my house. I am extremely grateful and satisfied with/for the great service that Air Bros provided - I would happily recommend this local, family-owned business to friends, family, and strangers alike.

I almost want to keep this company a secret, but I have to say how great they are. Our AC drip line…read moretends to clog up, and usually my husband is able to clear it so that the AC will run again. But this particular day, it was just beyond what his tricks and tactics could do. It was already around 5pm, but I tried calling Lombard anyway, and Juan answered. I told him the situation and he said he could be over in an hour. I was so surprised and happy! Sure enough, he is at the front door within the hour and gets to work right away. He explains to us that the unit (the coils and piping) need a thorough cleaning and that he can clean it enough that night to get it running reliably but he'd have to come back to finish the job. Juan further explained these cleanings should happen at a minimum of once a year. This is one of those things no one tells you about Florida because up north, I never had to worry about clogging ACs. His service fee was $60, but it went right towards the final bill of his work. His pricing is very fair and he really seems to know his stuff and is fair. We will keep his information and call him the next time we need him, as well as tell our neighbors about his great work.
