We originally contacted Florida Power & Water Works after hearing about the My Safe Florida Home…read moreprogram and wanting to improve our home's energy efficiency before replacing our aging HVAC system. What started as a simple inquiry ended up becoming one of the best investments we've made in our home. The first service we used was their building energy evaluation. The representative spent a considerable amount of time inspecting our attic, existing insulation levels, ventilation, and areas where conditioned air was escaping. They explained how poor attic insulation and heat intrusion were causing our air conditioner to run almost nonstop during the summer months. I appreciated that the consultation felt educational rather than sales-driven. Based on their recommendations, we decided to move forward with removing the old insulation and installing new blown-in insulation throughout the attic. The installation crew arrived on time, carefully prepared the work area, and used professional equipment to remove the older compressed insulation that had clearly lost much of its effectiveness over the years. They also pointed out several areas around attic penetrations that could benefit from additional sealing to improve overall efficiency. The difference was honestly noticeable almost immediately. The upstairs bedrooms, which previously became unbearably warm during the afternoon, now maintain a much more consistent temperature. Our HVAC system cycles far less frequently, and our monthly electric bills have shown a noticeable improvement. Several months later, we hired them again to install new gutters and apply a roof coating to a portion of our flat roof. Once again, the entire process was handled professionally from start to finish. The crew took time to explain the materials being used and how proper roof coatings can help reduce heat absorption while extending the life of the roofing system. The communication was impressive. We were regularly updated on scheduling, permitting questions, and progress. No one ever pressured us into unnecessary services, and every recommendation seemed genuinely focused on improving the home's long-term efficiency and protection. They genuinely care about the quality of their work and our satisfaction. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking into insulation upgrades, energy-saving improvements, or exterior home efficiency projects. You can't go wrong with this team!

TLS was absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to everyone…read more I live in Aria near the corner of Jacaranda and Edmonton/Border and have been here for 2 1/2 years. I wanted to get my garage ceiling insulated and the rest of the attic to R38. I requested quotes from other vendors and read reviews on each of the vendors whom quoted. I choose TLS because the tech quoting the job and the customer service person assigned to us, where friendly, knowledgeable, and great with any follow up questions. Scheduling was very easy, 1-2 weeks out, and when they had an earlier opening they called and texted to check if I wanted to stay with the original date or was interested in moving to the earlier date. Install team were great, 2 knowledgeable installers. They took before and after pictures and showed me where there were low points in my current insulation. They spent about almost 2 hours installing blown insulation and cleaning up afterwards. Proving pictures with the invoice and offered multiple paying options: Check, Venmo, and Credit Card. Absolutely no up-charge or fees when used the credit card option. I super pleased to have done my research which allowed me to select this company. What a great experience!
