She had my puppos looking and smelling fresh and clean. Would most definitely recommend. Easy to schedule and my babies were very happy.

We needed to board our pup for 4 days and after touring several kennels and meeting staff decided…read moreto board with Parker's because we were told we would receive daily texts and photos and that our pup would be well cared for. This was important for us as we usually do not board our dogs. Upon arriving, she escaped her enclosure while I was still on site (red flag). Then, we received photos and update on day 2-then nothing after. We were then told "well, we're closed on weekends". Then don't set the expectation of daily photos if there is no intention on follow through. Upon picking up our pup and bedding-we noticed that her bedding was completely urine-soaked-she has not had an accident in over 2 years. We will never use this facility again and will advise family and friends to steer clear.

I found Parker's Place Kennels on google but noticed they did not yet have a Yelp page. I had to…read morecreate one because I couldn't NOT recommend this dog boarding facility more. I called very last minute because I needed to be in Danville for work and needed my pup to stay someplace while I took my meeting. I visited their website, printed off their boarding agreement, and got all my dogs vaccinations ready. In the morning I called bright and early and the staff said they'd have to check with the owner since they normally have a wait. I got a prompt call back, was told it was fine to bring my dog and proceeded to send all of Samson's vaccinations to Wendy's email. I had hard copies just in case. The address of the location is a little bit past/forward (depending which way you come) from the actual facility. I recommend driving slow and looking out for the gravel driveway. Once inside I had the pleasure of meeting Wendy, the owner, who was an absolute sweetheart to me and Samson. She accepted my records and told me my card would be charged $14 later (normally a full day of day care cost). She told me that they have plans to expand so they'll be able to accept more dogs soon. Once I picked him up, they had nothing but great things to say about Samson and I was pleased with how tired he was even after two hours. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area needing dog care. The staff is friendly, the location and amenities are great, very cost effective, and who doesn't love a tired doggo!

Nice staff, Amy vet tech was especially sweet to my young puppy who was afraid. The facility has no…read moregrass close by which made it difficult to get the dog to a spot to pee. Dr was nice but seemed annoyed when puppy balked at having her ears examined. Cost was reasonable. I changed clinics due to cost so appreciate paying less.

I've been taking my dogs here since I moved to Kentucky in 2019. I've seen several of their…read moreveterinarians, and Dr. Thacker is my favorite. The vet care is adequate; however, there are a few issues to be aware of. As someone else mentioned, there is no grass for relieving your nervous pet prior to going in or coming out of the building. I've also consistently had problems with accurate documentation of vaccines and mentioned multiple times by email, phone, and in-person that my dog is up-to-date with vaccines and they can stop sending me notices in the mail. I provide proof of this every time, but it still continues. A huge negative is that there was no vet or tech follow-up conveying recent lab test results causing a delay in treatment. I was told results take two weeks, but the date on the paperwork shows they had access to the results a full week ago. Only after I called, was a plan of treatment set in place. I have considered going to a different location for veterinary services due to these issues, but likely the next place would have their own issues. One plus for this office is that they coordinate care with an an outside provider who provides chiropractic care and red-light therapy.
