I wouldn't recommend that anyone take their kids to this center. A relative worked here for a few months. She stated that although she was 19, she was the one in charge because the only other worker was 17. The boss was busy doing transports or answering phones so she and the 17 year old did all the work for about 18 two and three years olds. She had to change diapers and all the usual things you have to do with this age group. She loved working with the kids but was paid $8 an hour and was told that if a child broke a toy, she had to pay for it. They made her sign a document stating this. They bought cheap toys. There were often kids biting or hurting other kids because there were too many kids for 2 people to take care of. If one of the workers was busy tending to one child with diapers or who was hurt, then the other was handling 17 children by themselves. I called and reported this to the state department over daycares. Instead of making a surprise call to the center, the woman called and set up an appointment for about a week ahead of time. Of course, the boss made sure everything looked good for this appt. Ridiculous that the state would be so careless considering they are responsible for these day care centers and the children being cared for there. My relative quit because she couldn't take the risk anymore and got a better paying job. I would not recommend this place. read more
