to start, the location is obviously very run down and not welcoming. the entire place smells like…read morethe chinese restaurant next door (like frying oil). the place doesn't even have a proper sign. the driving examiner (didn't catch his name) was very lowkey rude. he tries to act like a nice guy, but he truly isn't. i told him i did my drivers education through a different company and he went on and bashed the company that i went through. he went on to say that the owner of the company doesn't care and just wants your money (which is very odd because i looked up how much ADS drivers ed is and it's the same price, hmm weird). i find it crazy how ADS doesn't even have a nice looking car for their drive times either. maybe should be updated. i gave the examiner a heads up that i was extremely anxious and have severe anxiety, but during the test i tried to turn right on red (which is my fault, not saying that it's his) and he proceeded to scream at the top of his lungs telling me to stop. i get that i shouldn't have done that and that it was dangerous but there was absolutely no need to scream at the top of your lungs like that. he then proceeded to thank me for getting his cardio in for the day, very unprofessional. if you're considering doing your drivers test here, don't.

I'm writing this review because one of my son's driving instructors about gave him an anxiety attack because she was coughing during his entire driving session (during a huge spike in the COVID pandemic). I don't understand why this company would allow a sick instructor to work - in an enclosed car, for two hours at a time, during a pandemic. My son even sent me a text message before he got dropped off at home telling me that he thought maybe he should isolate himself from the family. To make matters worse, the company sent the same woman back later in the week for his final driving session. When his last session was over, she needed $6 from him for a document fee and he didn't have exact change, so instead of waiting for him to come in and get the money from me, she drove off and told him to just mail it. To where, we didn't know... or even why we needed to send it... so I called the main office to get the information, and the two people I spoke with there sounded exasperated to have to answer my questions. In short, everyone I dealt with that week was rude. Fast forward a week, my son - who is currently in online school and rarely ever leaves the house - has a fever, a sore throat, congestion, and a cough. Now the rest of the family is sick too, and we are all sitting here in isolation because we had to be COVID tested. Still waiting on the results. So... while I'm not saying that the driving instructor gave us COVID, I *am* saying that I would expect this company to run their business with more safety and integrity, especially right now. He did not yell or get upset; he would tell me what I did and how to fix it, all nice and calm. The other driving instructors I had weren't the best; in my last class, there was a lady who seemed to find anything possible to tell me I couldn't drive. Her name is Jeannine Santoro, she said my shoes were not allowed, which I could see, but I had many other options, and she said no and seemed very smug about the fact that I couldn't drive and had to go home.
