Came in around 5 Am and was not triaged till 6:30 AM despite there being only two other patients there. reviews said it was affordable but it was most definitely not. The nurse that triaged me said thank god after he closed the door after rushing through triage questions. i understand getting tired at the end of a shift but reg the bedside manner was lacking i am still a person at the end of the day and im sorry illness came at the end of your shift. I went here for severe abdominal pain to the point I was fainting and was not helped. I waited for four hours. 1.5 hr in an empty waiting room, 1.5 hr in a freezing room that had blood stains on the bed sheet, and 1 hour for "results" aka a five minute pregnancy test. The dr refused to do any real exams on me. No fluids, no scans, just a pregnancy test. She pushed on my stomach, which made me flinch, and she said I was okay, that she'd give me a pain shot. When I asked how she knew I was okay without any sort of imaging to check, she gaslit me and said "I wouldn't give you the shot if I thought it was something else,". Very rude, barely gave me 5 minutes of an "exam" and chalked it up to whatever she assumed because she had no real proof of my problem. $175 (with insurance) WASTED and I'm still in pain. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. Just go to a real ER if you want real results and real answers. It's sad because I was warned by four people to NOT go here for this very reason! but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Heed warnings. read more

The service and care is very good. Nurses and doctors do a great job. Virginia at the front desk has a horrible attitude. She over speaks in every conversation. She loves to reiterate policy's when we already understood what was going on. She needs to work on her tone, get some compassion and stoping being condescending. Worst person to be working at the front desk. I've never had any prior negative experiences except for virgina acting very distasteful. read more

Absolutely superb, my insurance administrator was closed for the weekend. I paid $200 deposit and they will process claim on Monday. Simple forms to complete, had me in triage room in 3-5 minutes. Ran some tests, saw doctor, issued prescription. This place runs like a crack Navy Seal team..well done read more

Update: be sure you understand that this place doesn't accept "advantage" insurance. You pay up front and file to get reimbursed. But TLC gives an unfamiliar coding to insurance companies. They are very unhelpful with questions or any help. This place shows up under "Urgent Care" when searching for options online BUT it is not! They call themselves a "freestanding ER Dept but not affiliated with any hospital". Not clear until you have a reimbursement problem. Check your coverage carefully before your visit!!! read more

I have been here at least 5 times (ik it's sounds like a lot, but I had a lot of postpartum problems months ago, the flu [different strands], twice during pregnancy, and I had a horrible leg injury as of last week). This place is the best ER there is. I have only been referred to the hospital once from here because they found I had retained placenta and had to be admitted. The doctors and patients are always so nice and willing to help, and they go above and beyond. I have had insurance coming here, and I have had no insurance coming here. Either way, I saved a ton of money and they are always quick to handle the problem. I will always refer this place if someone asks me where they need to go. 11/10, definitely recommend. My son was seen by Dr. Kretschmann on Sunday, June 13th at 11pm for his high grade fever 104.1°. After examining my son he couldn't find the source as to why he was experiencing a fever. UA was performed, blood work was not recommended and I had to deny a covid test because it was an additional $90. Walgreens perform free covid testings, so no need to waste my money. You can also grab a box of Binax Now (covid test) at Walmart for $19. Receptionist's exact words were 'doctors quote is $276" before we were even seen. Last time I went to this clinic my total bill (uninsured) was $160 which included a flu test and x-rays. My son needed to be treated. We needed to find the cause, so I agreed to pay. Unfortunately Dr. Kretschmann failed to diagnosis my son. After examining my son he concluded it was viral and there was nothing else they could do, but for us to just wait for the fever to subside. I was repeatedly told to come back if my son's fever didn't improve. Why would I come back if there's nothing you can do for me? I'm going to be honest, the moment I saw Dr. Kretschmann I had a bad gut feeling. I went to my son's PCP (primary care physician) the next morning at 9am and he was diagnosed with strep throat. My PCP made certain of his diagnosis. He explained the signs and symptoms to watch out for and showed me my son's throat. Red dots behind throat and white pus on tonsils is an indication of STREP. Dr. Kretschmann checked my son's throat. Perhaps he's visually impaired ... But he checked my son's throat and failed to diagnosis. If only he had caught this and prescribed us antibiotics and a steroid my son wouldn't have to wait hours to feel relief. Also my PCP recommended blood drawn to be done because 'it doesn't hurt to see if there's something else that may be going on'. Dr. Krestschmann did not recommend this. There was no need for it he said. Emergency room doctors have a reputation of being unintelligent ... I didn't believe it til I met Dr. Kretschmann. Literally a waste of money and time. read more

I had to come here to take my girlfriend and I was so pleased with the nice company and workers. Very professional, super nice and very caring. Usually when you go to a minor emergency they do everything in the power to kind of boot you and get you out quick. But this is a different one, they cared for her and got everything for her and I'm so pleased! The first minor emergency to do that! Nurse Taylor is amazing and so was the doctor on duty!! read more

Did not want to go to ER for abdominal pain,but my wife badgered me to go. Great experience! Homer did a quick and thorough assessment. He later was able to establish an IV even though I was somewhat volume depleted. Dr. Elder was very personable and took time to understand the problem. Chris was very professional in administering the CAT scan. The front office person, Vanessa, was very polite and took care of the paperwork very efficiently. The RN ensured that I was comfortable until I was released to go home. She even ensured that I had a ride home! read more

This facility calls themselves Urgent care but say they are an emergency room and you have to pay the high co pay VS urgent care co pay . My urgent care co pay is 35$ and my ER co pay is 700 I would have to pay 700 $ . These places are scams and just want your money !!! It's best to wait to see your primary care physician, but sometimes it's an emergency you can't because it's the weekend! So we're forced to get scammed !! read more

So I had another visit here last week and the staff was just as good as my last visit. I'm a coffee drinker so I appreciate the Keurig machine they have in the lobby. They even let me take my coffee to the back while I waited for the doctor. I was in a lot of pain and my visit was quick and the staff was knowledgeable. read more

My son received excellent care at TLC. The staff were attentive and efficient. The facilities are spacious, clean, and well maintained. Dr. Wagner recommended a cautious approach to treatment (even though the x-rays did not show a problem). This turned out to be the best decision for our son according to the specialist we saw for follow-up treatment. I'm so thankful that Dr. Wagner protected my son's knee with a brace even though the ER radiologist did not see a need. It turns out the problem is with ligaments, not bones, so it wouldn't have shown up in an X-ray. Without that brace my son would have been in worse shape by the time we go in to the specialist. TLC provided the same quality, individualized care I would expect from my son's pediatrician. read more

Wonderful experience from the front desk to the nurse to the Doctor. Came here in a lot of pain for an infected tooth and was reluctant due to a previous bad experience at a terrible urgent care clinic nearby. What a difference! They were informative about my benefits, kind and welcoming throughout the visit and the doctor offered various treatment options with my best interest in mind. The medical field these days tends to be very off putting but the values, ambiance, and friendly staff make TLC a welcome rarity to that rule.
