I'm not comfortable in front of a camera so I was kind of nervous about being photographed constantly on our wedding day. With Taz and Kamil, there was no need to worry. I am from the Midwest and deciding to get married in NY was a big decision for my husband and I...not only because of the travel implications it imposed on our families, but also because we were not familiar with many vendors in the area. I did some online research and selected 3 photographers who's styles I really liked, who had great reviews and that also fit within our budget. After the first round of calls, there was no doubt in my mind we had to work with Taz and Kamil. Taz and I clicked instantly on the phone as she is extremely easy to get along with and talk to but she also upholds so much professionalism. She worked with me throughout the planning process to ensure I had a day of timeline that flowed well and allowed adequate amounts of time for each phase of the day and also helped me put together day-of shot lists by proposing ideas and considerations I would have never thought of. They checked in regularly and helped build excitement, which was so cool, especially since we didn't do an engagement shoot. I knew I was thrilled with our photographers before the wedding day even came....but after working with them day-of, I have to HIGHLY recommend this pair. For one, having 2 photographers is amazing as they were able to capture moments from all angles---as well as dividing and conquering with getting ready pics. Taz was by my side the whole day (I mean that in every positive way, not annoying in the least)---making sure we took the time to get the right shots (I am not very focused on details in these situations, so having her think of all considerations was amazing) and making sure I was doing OK (Holy cow weddings are overwhelming). She was a professional and a friend and above all TALENTED. They posted a sneak peak of our images the next day, which was so exciting to check out and share. Our entire gallery of over 700 images in addition to a very lovely blog post were all ready 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The gallery is beautiful and so easy to use and navigate and the USB drive they sent us for our own downloads/records came in the best presentation and was organized beautifully. We invited Taz and Kamil to do our engagement photos in Rochester and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Let me start off with our friendly and professional they were. Taz and Kamil made us feel so comfortable during the photoshoot which enabled us to really be ourselves with a lot of genuine smiles. We were so happy since we were able to get a lot of amazing candid shots. There was never a time when we felt rushed during the shoot even though we went over the agreed time. Taz's brilliant photography and Kamil's excellent lighting skills gave so many great photos that we now have the good trouble of having to narrow down which photos we should use for our Save the Date card and website. We were initially told that we would receive the edited photos in 2 weeks but we ended up receiving them in only a couple of days which was a pleasant surprise. We were provided with all of the high resolution photos and could not be more happy with the finished product. Only regret we have is not being able to book them for our wedding since we've already put down a deposit for a different photographer several months ago. Taz and Kamil were amazing! I don't even know where to start. They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They have great idea's for photo shoots but also took into consideration that it was warm out so she tried to take as many photos in the shade as possible. One of the main worries I had was being able to take photos of my large extended family quick enough. We only had cocktail hour to get through them and grandparent photos. We had 4 large groups (each side my husband and my family) and they were all between 25-40 people. I was worried for nothing. Taz is an expert and obviously had lots of experience with large groups. I received so many complements about our photographers from family! We received all the photos earlier than we expected and they all look great! We couldn't be happier! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Taz & Kamil. They made everyone feel so comfortable, were so pleasant to work with, and were incredibly organized, especially during the family formal pictures, where they knew exactly who needed to be where, and when. It rained on our entire wedding day, and other than the few super-cute purposeful rain pictures, you wouldn't have known that everything was soaking wet because even with limited shooting locations, they found spots with great lighting which made it look beautiful out. I had several guests compliment our choice in photographers, especially that they did not get in the way at all during the entire day. They were able to get great shots without being obtrusive. It's very helpful to have 2 photographers as well, as you get different angles, and one can spend time with the groom, and the other the bride, prior to the wedding. I hate having my photo taken. My former career on stage resulted in being in front of many cameras but I was never comfortable. I needed photos for my new business venture despite my resistance. I happened to see photos posted by TKL Photography on Instagram and I was instantly drawn in. Photos of random people don't usually move me, but these did. I could literally hear the expressions and feel energy of the setting.... I'd never seen anything like it. Taz was nothing short of heroic as she patiently listened to my litany of reasons why I wanted a quick photo shoot for my business and why I hate having my photo taken. She never sold me on why she was my perfect photographer nor was she overly bubbly or overly enthusiastic about her portfolio. Her humility and stillness was refreshing. The day of the shoot, I was nervous and Taz made me feel like I was her BFF of years. She never once posed me...we chatted, she made me laugh, and I actually enjoyed the shoot. Taz & Kamil are wonderful! They did our engagement pictures, and we couldn't be happier with our pictures. They spent several hours taking the pictures and we went to several different locations in Chicago. We started in Lincoln Park and went all the way downtown. They scouted lots of different locations for us before we even took the pictures, so we really appreciated that since they already had so many great ideas/locations. Taz & Kamil were very patient and had lots of creative ideas/poses for us. I felt really comfortable, because they made us feel confident about how great we looked in the pictures, and made us feel really at ease. They are very professional, but are easy to talk to and are open to hearing what you would like in the pictures. The day flew by since it was enjoyable, which most people don't expect when they get professional pictures taken. I also really loved that the pictures weren't really very posed, but rather they captured lots of great natural moments. Taz did a fantastic job editing the pictures. I'm not really that photogenic, but she has a gift of making people look better than they naturally look with her editing skills! First time I used TKL Photography was for Christmas photo shoot. When I saw the result of that shoot I LOVED IT. I had no idea that pictures can come out with such perfection. Everything on the pictures was perfectly resembling reality while capturing the unforgotten moments of my life. In addition to that Taz and Kamil (photographers) know how to make a photo event unforgettable and exciting. After that I came back for more and I used them for my ENGAGEMENT SESSION AND WEDDING. I would say that is their specialty. I am not a person who likes to have all attention directed on myself and shooting in public places definitely doesnt help but with Taz's and Kamil's talent I actually started to love it.
