I told a friend about it and they suggested I give Tri-City a tri (see what I did there!). So glad I did! They gave me a quote a 3rd of my previous quote! Not only that, the customer service was very helpful and pleasant, the facilities were very nice, clean, & well kept, & they did a great job on my vehicle. They (Walmart who to their credit did everything to try to remove old dipstick & fessed up for the accident & reimbursed cost to have removed) then advised me to take truck to "The Shop" in Clute, TX to have it removed - then come back to complete the oil change. Arrived at shop the following morning, and spoke with Mr. Robert. I gave him my information and keys, I believe I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. Mr Robert only charged a minimal labor (no four hour minimum) just their actual time to remove broken dipstick. I just discovered this business because of the accident, but plan on allowing them to put them to rebuild or replace a 5.3 in another vehicle of mine. Good people & especially good mechanics are hard to find these days, so if they continue to do the level service they did this time I will hopefully be giving them a good deal business in the future.
