This is a review of Dan Hall at Elite Service Mortgage…read more I never thought that I would have an experience with a mortgage broker that I would classify as "great", but Dan proved that it greatness is possible. In the past, my experiences with mortgage brokers have been stressful and a necessary evil. We purchased a house in Nashville, and our realtor recommended Dan Hall. We are so glad that she did. Dan spent a lot of time understanding our needs, making his recommendations, and answering every single question we had in a language that we understood. And we had a lot of questions. With just that, he's already the best mortgage broker I've used. But what really set Dan apart was that he made the process go smoothly. He told us what he needed from us in advance, what things were time critical and what things could wait. He held our hand. He took time for us, and he sincerely wanted us to be satisfied with his response ensuring that we had all the information we needed. It sounds trivial, but every mortgage I had gotten prior to Dan was stress inducing and the broker made us feel like they were doing us a favor. But Dan truly appreciated our business. And the cherry on top was that Dan found us a better mortgage rate than any of our "due diligence" calls to other lenders. Dan is the best.

It is so uncommon to come across great customer service and someone that cares like she does nowadays. do not use their debit/credit cards as they offer no practical protection other than fraud…read moreprotection. big deal. i was under the impression that they offered the convenience of credit cards with just as many avenues for protection from bad retail or online stores. not true. i'm not going to open up a can of worms, but after speaking to 3 separate credit card representatives, let's just say they "threw me under the bus" for a underhanded telephone provider that provided poor service and even poor equipment. my 16 years of patronage and being a disabled senior was irrelevant as well. i wanted a partial refund for that horrible company (hey, i was being nice). the credit card reps weren't. they told me the debit/credit card only offered full fraud protection, nothing else. since this is no big monetary advantage to using their card along with this big offering, why would anyone use their card instead of going to a credit card company and getting some type of rewards? let my lack of information be your saving grace. do not, i repeat do not use their debit/credit card. i told them they should reconsider their decision and if it won't be changed, then i directed them to send my letter and a copy of my recorded phone conversation with them to the ceo. if it isn't resolved to my satisfaction, i plan on following through with a few government agencies including the consumer protection agency based in nashville. one can only hope they follow through on refunding the small amount that was charged or else they send the info. to the ceo and hopefully he'll intervene. i'll update this as to what transpires. with a credit card, you have options...with this card, you encourage companies that provide bad equipment and service to remain in business.
