Despite proving this using usa.gov and the IRS website all they could do was apologize. The entire process took 2.5 hours, even though I had all the necessary documentation. I wanted to decline the service, but after spending so much time there and being the last customer, they rushed me to make a decision. The additional 2% they charged cost me an extra $125. I strongly advise against going there, as they illegally charged more than 3% for government-issued checks. Kroger and Walmart are much better alternatives. If Speedy Cash doesn't change their illegal practices, they could be facing a huge class action lawsuit in the future.
