I was a good customer here took out a loan twice, Ricardo was always good to me until his co worker Estephani broke my door handle while taking pictures of my vehicle, after she broke up Ricardo and her treated me like I was making a big deal over nothing... MY CAR was damaged by her bare hands. Ricardo refused me his boss name he said he would call to respond a claim and when I left that Estephani girl still was saying "bye have a nice day." All sarcastic like her job will always defend her. Subject: Formal Complaint Against Ricardo - Unprofessional Behavior & Failure to Assist I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment I received from Ricardo on March 31, 2025, at 4:30 PM PST. I initially called to speak with Stephanie, but she was unavailable. When I asked Ricardo if I could change my payment due date for April, his response quickly became condescending and unprofessional. Rather than providing a simple yes or no, he spoke to me in a dismissive and scolding tone, as if he were reprimanding a child. As the conversation continued, Ricardo's attitude worsened, making it clear that he was more interested in asserting control than assisting me. His behavior became so unacceptable that I had to disconnect the call--I refuse to tolerate that kind of treatment, nor will I deal with his personal issues at all. IT TAKES A LOT OF NERVES TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE THE WAY HE SPOKE TO ME! And it takes seconds for me to snap! He runs NOTHING and his attitude is all wrong! Following this, I called the corporate office to file a complaint and spoke with Gary. Gary confirmed that any approved payment change should have resulted in an actual update to my account--yet no change was made to reflect an approval for me to pay on 04/14/2025 instead of 04/02/2025. While Ricardo did note our conversation, that alone is not enough. The fact remains: he failed to do his job because he was too focused on trying to assert power instead of providing proper customer service. My question to you is this: What kind of power would Ricardo have IF THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS TO BE RUDE TOO??? Somebody better get it together! You will not speak to me crazy AT ALL! Put that in the notes because this cannot happen again! Do not speak to me as if I am the only one winning by getting an extension on the April bill. Because if I do not pay, YOU GET A CAR! SO STOP ACTING LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW THAT! Stop acting like your stank behavior has to be dealt with! If he didn't know, he does now, that his poor behavior will not be tolerated and I don't care what his job title is. Respect me or be fine with mutual disrespect! No Exceptions! I haven't met anyone with that kind of nastiness in a long time! This may not apply but it feels the same. I feel discriminated against! I feel like that stunt he pulled is only for certain ethnicities. I don't care what his excuse is when my complaint gets to him! IT BETTER NOT HAPPEN AGAIN! I am now going to file a complaint with BBB and FTC to make it clear how I should have been treated! He agreed to 04/14/2025, it has been confirmed by Gary that he placed the request and agreement in notes. I asked for an email confirming the April payment date change and he said NO! So his ignorance will be handled in writing until my account is adjusted to the agreed extension. 04/14. I don't TRUST HIM and I was given no reasons too. I need my account adjusted! He's clown and changes the way I see Title Max now! It's always a cocky, disrespectful person feeling themselves too much in a new position where they loose sight of what's important. CUSTOMERS! Don't ignore my word of mouth! I am doing business with Title Max not clowns and my account needs to be adjusted to reflect the extended due date of 04/14/2025. Just placing his approval in notes showing 04/14/2025 is what untrained people do for not knowing any better. This is an account, it is a contract agreement and the April approved due date needs to be corrected and added to my account so it is clear why a payment is being made after 04/02/2025. The general manager Celia Lopez was helping us with a title loan. Another man came in and she started helping him instead. She made us wait until she was done doing his loan before she looked at us. Apparently, he was there before and had to go home and get paperwork but she was already helping us. He should have waited. When we complained she just said sorry. Went in unsure if I'd be approved for a loan but both Tony&Beatriz assured me it was going to be a simple process to get approved. They were able to get the amount I wanted and I was in and out of the store w/in the hour. Both were patient w me when I had questions or wasn't sure on certain parts of the application. I have been a customer of this location for multiple years. Business ranging from getting loans to help family members, unscheduled urgencies and more. My most recent loan, I was introduced to a new manager. I was first concerned because the young lady who is still employed however was off that day was not there to assist. She has always made it a reason to return because of her friendliness and professionalism. I still was pleasantly surprised because the new manager was amazing. Friendly, Outgoing and was not scripted and her conversation. The process did not take long and she was very helpful. Definitely recommend this location. read more
