I spoke with Luis about a doing a deep-clean for us prior to putting up Christmas decor. The hope…read morewas to then sign up for bi-weekly cleanings. I asked him if he had capacity before the initial deep clean, which he assured me he did. The deep clean took place on a Saturday, which we appreciated as we had a deadline before we wanted to decorate, and we were generally pleased with the results, however, there did seem to be some obvious missed steps. Couches weren't vacuumed on top or underneath, our entire guest room seems to have been skipped, bathroom floors weren't well-attended...but we were happy enough with the job that we wanted to continue as the areas they did hit were well done. I shared my feedback with Luis and sent him the highlights of what we felt was missed, asked a few questions to try and gauge why, and told him we just needed those attended to well when they came back for the first regular bi-weekly clean. He sent me short/clipped responses, never really addressed my questions or concerns, and then told me they were full and couldn't take us on as regular clients. When I asked if he was unwilling to take us as a client due to the feedback, he ghosted and I never heard from thereafter. They seemed like they did a fine enough job, but were not open to feedback, so in the end I can't say I recommend. Proceed with caution and be clear about expectations up front.

A…read moregood friend recommended Flooring by Design and I contacted them to arrange a review of the job and an estimate. From our initial meeting forward we enjoyed a very positive experience and are thrilled with the final installation. Our interactions received prompt, thorough and professional service. In fact, every interaction was kind and straight forward. Installation included 1800sf of engineered hardwood flooring. The crew was exceptional... very polite, on time, clean and meticulous over details from floor prep to installation. My project, being an older home, posed a few challenges and the installation crew took no shortcuts in overcoming every obstacle. I do not say this lightly... they met or exceeded every expectation and I'm not an easy customer to please. They just completed my installation about an hour ago and I was genuinely excited to offer a review. Without reservation, I have already recommended Flooring by Design to others and will continue to do so.
