Situation: Dealing with my uncle's estate in East Hampton from across the country. In order to close the sale of the house we need to clean the house. Action: I was provided multiple referrals and contacted a few and was provided quotes that I was not satisfied with. Then i found JunkTrashOut.com on Yelp and gave them a call. Result: To start, it wasn't just someone at the front desk that answered the phone. It was the proprietor, Matteo. Matteo was honest and straight up. We talked as if we knew each other and he let me know what his team could do and that he had no doubt he and his guys could handle the property clean out. We talked for a bit more and I let him know that I would send him pics of the estate so we can determine a reasonable price for the clean out. Within hours, Matteo gave me a call back and he gave me a gauge of what the cost might be per load and asked what my budget would be. I gave a budget that I thought was reasonable and he said let's do it. We discussed logistics and Matteo and his team were on site within 2 days. Even though I knew this was supposed to be a clean out, I expected that to be relative given the size of the hoard and amount of stuff. After only 2 days on site, Matteo and his team wrapped up their work with the place looking better than I had ever seen it. Matteo kept me up to date on progress and asked questions about contents to ensure they disposed of only the things we wanted them to. In the end, I know Matteo and his team put a lot of work into the clean out and they didn't complain or anything. They just went in and got it done. It was great working with the JunkTrashOut.com team. So much better to work with a small team where the owner is directly engaged and onsite taking pride in his team's work. The "after"pics he sent were incredible. I only wish I called Matteo before we put the house on the market. I bet we would have got another 10% bump in the offer price. He shared his location on Waze during the drop off so I would know the exact time that they were to arrive. The container was different than any I've rented before, in a good way. Rubber tires prevented any problems with our driveway which is a big plus. Pickup was done while we were at work and a friendly text to notify that he was there was appreciated. I didn't realize that he offered a service to get rid of couches and individual items. We will definitely contact him whenever we need to get rid of something quickly.

Wow...never thought I'd become a rabid fan of a dumpster delivery company, but these guys have been…read moreamazing to me. I was a little put off at first because Brian, who returned my initial call, spoke so fast that I could barely understand a word he said and I foresaw communication problems arising from that. But something inspired me to stay the course and I'm very glad I did. Nothing but courtesy and professionalism here. Brian was extremely helpful on the phone (I wound up wondering why I ever thought he spoke especially fast - maybe I've just been living upstate long enough now that everything seems fast down here on the island) and he and his team delivered a dumpster on very short notice; and not only that, but being unfamiliar with dumpster sizes I felt unsure that the 6-yard dumpster I'd ordered was going to be big enough, so I called Brian about two hours before delivery was scheduled to ask whether I should go with a bigger dumpster. I didn't get a human, so I left a message, and within a half hour or so, Brian called me back to tell me that he had upgraded my order to a 10-yard dumpster at no extra cost to me, and the bigger dumpster was delivered to me at exactly the time the original dumpster had been scheduled to be delivered. The truck driver (whose name I asked, but, regrettably, have since become unsure of - was it Steve?) was every bit as pleasant to deal with as Brian had been. He called to finalize a delivery time and was completely flexible so as to deliver the dumpster when it would be most convenient for me. He placed the dumpster exactly where I wanted it, and on the wood I requested that it be placed on so it didn't damage my driveway, and then told me I could keep the dumpster for as long as I needed it and just give S&A a call when I wanted them to come pick it up. And I did wind up needing a 10-yard dumpster after all. So this whole thing worked out amazingly well, and anytime I need a dumpster in this area I'm gonna call these guys without a second thought. I don't doubt that Kevin C's experience was everything he said it was, but I have to wonder if maybe S&A was just getting started at that point and didn't have their chops down yet or something. Because they sure seem to be aces now.

However, BEWARE problems with their customer service will arises after container drop-off and payment. They will not pick-up container upon request after a confirmation is given, nor will they call to tell you they won't be removing the dumpster from your driveway that day. It took 4 phone calls after the original one requesting pick up and 5 days later to have the container removed from my driveway.
