A little while ago my dress zip broke, and I have been looking for a zip to replace it, as it is quite a unique dress. I called in, rather than going in, to ask if they had a beige-pink zip for a dress, and she was quite helpful in telling me that they did not have any that specific, but they did have beige. Now, when I went to Veritas, they did not have any zips that were the right colour, but for some reason the staff insisted on selling me one of the zips even though it was the wrong colour!!! I asked them if they knew of another sewing or material shop, and they said they were the only known one around. Now that was a blatant lie. I don't think I will be going back to Veritas, however I will definitely be going to Au Coin Vert to take a closer look at what they have, since they were very honest, and did not expect me to buy something that I did not need.
