Ordered A set of Moto metal rims off Amazon from Tires Wheels Direct of California, for my truck. Said they'd be here on 10/15/24. A day after they're supposed to be shipped, I get a call from Ralph telling me there's only 1 rim available. They did not have the rims in stock. Said they would make it up to me. Then proceeds to upsell me to a more expensive rim. Ralph kept telling me to order through his company Tireswheelsdirect out of California, not through Amazon. I did not feel comfortable with that so I ordered a different set of rims through Amazon the next day. Unfortunately, it was through JWD again! AGAIN, It did say the rims were in stock. I wanted a particular rim for my 1970 Mustang but I wanted to see one 'in-person' next to my car before I decided. Ralph didn't have one in stock but he had one shipped to him the next day for me to see. The look was perfect so I told him I wanted 4 rims and tires wider than what I currently had. He told me what sizes would fit and with only minor modification to the rear fender lips he was able to fit much larger wheels and tires than I would have thought. My car looks exactly how I wanted, more aggressive and less "resto" and more "mod". And, bonus, their prices were lower than other bigger companies that I checked out. I was looking a several hundred dollars to replace the OEM wheel. Instead, I found Tires Wheels Direct. They looked at the damage and offered to fix it at a fraction of the cost for a new wheel. They also gave me a competitive price for a new tire. They repaired the wheel and ordered the new tire. Within a couple days I got back my repaired wheel and tire---looks great. This shop gave me a perfect upgrade opportunity for my newly bought Winnebago solice. Although they don't advertise themselves to be experts in upgrading Vans but they actually are experts upgrading vans. Ralph researched the parts rim and tire and ensure that it can accommodate the weight of my camper van.
