The other day I was out and realized that a sound I'd been listening to wasn't from what I thought. Instead, it was coming from a rear wheel. I was hoping it would be a simple r & r with a nominal cost in parts. With that in mind, I went to my local tire kingdom for a diagnosis... As I walked to the door, a worker there held it open. Chivalry is not dead! I was immediately greeted and asked what they could do for me today. I explained the situation and handed them the keys! After the mechanic drove my truck around for a bit, he was able to hear and feel what I was talking about. He could see a couple things right away. I was asked into the bay so he could show me a couple of things. Cool. Now, let's put it up! I chose to wait in the office... I didn't wait long, though. My presence was once again requested so to the bay I went. The news was not good. The differential needs to be replaced. There are other minor repairs needed, but none as consequential as that rear end! Unfortunately, they do not do repairs that don't pertain to tires. This was a very satisfying experience! I like going to the smaller sized local neighborhood businesses. This one here has always treated me as an individual. I have never felt as if I was being talked down to for being female or any other antiquated reason. These mechanics are polite, very courteous, and extraordinarily communicative! Any questions were answered in detail to assure my understanding. I didn't expect such a formal inspection just to identify a problem that I felt, not necessarily a noise! Even though a repair will not benefit them, they followed through! Wow! I was very impressed!! In the end, I was given a print out of the inspection and the repairs that are needed. We spoke for another minute as I prepared to leave. One walked me to the truck, which was good because I remembered another question I had. Again, I was offered a response based on the question, not based on me as a female. It is so refreshing to enter a place of business knowing that I will be well-received! I won't support a place where I am not made to feel as an individual. I'm not a number, I'm not a wallet. I will be coming here for my new tire and maintenance needs!! George, and the crew at Tire Kingdom on Sandhill Blvd. in Punta Gorda, are located in a convenient location close to Interstate 75 and Kings Hwy. They are obviously dedicated to efficient, competent service with good customer attitudes. On a spur of the moment decision to get my tires rotated, I called for an appointment mid-morning, scheduled an appointment for shortly after lunch. Once my vehicle was in the shop, they honored all my requests efficiently, and shortly I was on my way with complete satisfaction that the job was performed correctly. Been a customer for years. Recently got an oil change and all fluids topped. Or so they said. the next day I opened the hood and saw most fluids low, they didn't top the fluids As they agreed to do. went back and they wouldn't do anything Except "talk to my guy". Never again going there. read more

first you can start by getting rid of the so-called manager or making him go to anger management classes, he is very poor at customer service in clearly does not know what he is doing... he said these tires are resolved of me doing something which the alignment was so off when I first got them I had to bring them back and get realignment and now when I looked on the screen when the mechanic was checking the alignment it was really off. It was so bad that while raining my vehicle was all over the road, even with driver assist on. He said since I did not purchase the road hazard that I did not have a warranty on my tires which is not what I was told when I purchased them because I have road hazard on my insurance it was not necessary for me to purchase that at 40 dollars a tire. I would think in this day and age that women would not get ripped off just because men think they're stupid but clearly that is not the case in this store. had to pay to get new tires which is clearly not a good customer service since I almost got in a wreck due to the defective tires and alignment read more

Took my business to BJ's. Three o'clock appointment, done by 4:00. Found out I needed two front tires. Bought them there. Problem solved.

I stopped by on Thursday, 4/17/25 afternoon and wanted to have all four tire pressure sensors replaced, and tires rotated and balanced as well. I purchased my 4 Perelli tires from this location 2 years ago at which time I purchased the additional warranty for each tire to be rotated, balanced and plugged FREE of charge. The gentleman helping me said the tire warranty I purchased isn't any good because the company apparently isnt honoring them anymore. He said they honored those warranty's for a year afterward but they don't honor them anymore. I explained that this location sold it to me when I purchased the tires, not some other company. He just shrugged his shoulders and said they don't honor it so I'd have to pay for the balancing but he wouldn't charge for rotating since he had the tires off anyway. Then he proceeded to tell me it would be a 2 possibly 3 hour wait, or I could make an appointment and come back. I opted to come back at 9AM Saturday since it was late and I live 35 miles away. Today, Saturday 4/19, I arrived at 8:45AM for my appointment only to be told it would be a 2 possibly 3 hour wait! I explained I made an appointment to which the gentleman said, that's just the way it is! What?? Needless to say, I left and they just lost a $470 job! read more

The customer service to me is great. I stopped by to reset my tire pressure sensors. The gentleman by the name of Tom was resetting them as doing so we found out that all four sensors Were no good. I came back two days later they installed all four of them in less than maybe an hour. read more

They don't give quotes over the phone...? What on earth. I called to get a price to replace my car battery. Was told they can't do that over the phone. Need to bring it in and sit there for who knows how long, just for them to look at my car and give a price. Which means now they've got you hogtied. Who wants to waste their time getting a quote and then leave to go somewhere else that might be cheaper? This is horrible service and I hope this employee was simply lying just to be lazy. Because that is just insane to not give an estimate for a simple car battery replacement. read more

Terrible experience, I've been visiting tire kingdom for years. From Tires to oil change, everything has been done with your company since 2002. We noticed stains at our front driveway so We took the car back and let them Know it was leaking oil. The guy agreed it was leaking and fixed it but stupid Me, I didn't ask for evidence of what happened so They "fixed it" but it wasn't documented in neither. All of a Sudden the car stopped working and We are talking about a 38,000 miles car and Since they didn't document it in their data now I've no prove of the inconvenience. It cost me 2,400 dollars to get my car working again. We took all the documents and evidence We have to corporate but they didn't care. Congrats on losing another customer. No one should ever go through what I did for their mistake. read more

I had a nail in my tire,I could see where it was( closer to the middle) so I was very surprised when I was told that isn't not fixable and I need a new tire. I said ok, then someone else comes looks me straight right into the eyes and tells me that because I have all-weal drive I can't replace only one tire(my tires has less then 10000 miles on them) because it would completely ruined my car.what makes you think because I am a woman then I am stupid? I had actually bought and put one used tire on multiple occasions for this same car . I sa it was an option to replace 4 tires went to a different place "Brothers Q Tires" $25 dollars later less then 20 minutes my tire was fixed and I was told that I had a good tire. Bought 5 new tires for my dually and they damaged my two rear rims and had to replace them. By the time they came in the shop didn't have time to put them on the truck. I took them to another tire shop and paid out of pocket to have them installed, it was worth it though because I doubt Tire Kingdom could have done it as well as Callahans Tire in Bradenton, Fl.. After enduring Hurricane Ian, losing my store on Sanibel and having to evacuate my home in Cape Coral, driving 75 towards Sarasota, I got a flat tire. It took days to get a tow truck there, as I thought the lug nuts had been stripped. I had it towed to the nearest place, which was Tire Kingdom off of exit 170. Unfortunately they were closed all week due to power outages. I got in touch with customer service. They told me the owners would be in touch within 72 hours. It seemed like a long time but considering the horrendous storm we just incurred, I accepted it. Within an hour the district manager contacted me and said he would have the manager call me. Mind you these people were home dealing with their own storm issues. Two hours later Mike, the manager called me. He assured me once they were up and running he would be in touch. Unfortunately, it took days to get them back on the grid. Once up and running, they went above and beyond! I had just bought those tires 5 weeks prior from a competitor. Mike asked me to send my receipt to see if I had the insurance plan on them, which I did!!! He contacted the competitor, sent in the receipt and even went there, picked up my tire, replaced it and didn't charge me a dime!!! However the competitor charged me a $17 insurance fee! Come to find out I didn't have stripped lug nuts, I have lug nut covers that swell making it impossible to remove myself!!! Mike informed me of what to get to replace them. I will be taking my car ALL the way back to this Tire Kingdom, giving them the business they have rightfully earned! This is what it means when coming together during a tragedy, such as Hurricane Ian! Thanks for going the extra mile Mike & team!!! read more

After spending over $1,200+ On their recommended tires back in 27 May 2020, and keeping up with the balancing and rotations with this very same store, here I am just a shy of 9 months later having to replace the tires because of the Inferior AND Expensive tire they've recommended. Anyways, they told me the warranty is covered, but the tires they installed less than a year ago was discontinued that they recommend some Michelins but they are more expensive. BTW their warranty doesn't cover installation, balancing, and they want you to purchase a new warranty?!? So I scheduled to get the problem taken care of, and when I got to the shop as scheduled, come to find out they never placed the order!? Bottom line, I wasted my time and money with this store. This place is unorganized, product, balancing work and overall workmanship is inferior in my honest opinion and this reflects negatively on the store manager due to lack of oversight. I do not recommend going to this shop. read more

These guys have worked with me and I know they gotta make a buck. They are fast and effective. They have competitive prices not the cheapest but they do good work . Any issue I've had with a repair they have resolved it the next day if not same day. I've gotten brakes, oil changes, tires and air-conditioning work done... all been great. read more
