Tucked away between houses on Northfield Road this is a building supply company that specialises in wood and timber. I've been in before to ask about chippings for some misguided (and ultimately doomed) gardening project I had in mind and they let me have a load without even charging me. I've also popped in to get some planks and pallets (again a gardening project that never really happened) and they hardly charged me anything at all. Staff are lovely and if you live in Harborne and want a new fence panel (or have grandiose plans for raised beds etc) then I would definitely recommend this place.

Very clean, spacious and helpful staff - but as is standard these days - you have to seek the staff out. But today once I did they were extremely helpful and I had not one but two staff members finding solutions for me Ample parking and the location super convenient since within 100 yards you have both BQ and Range whose slightly different store content ensure that if you can't find what you are looking for here you ain't going to find it anywhere! These tend to sell the spares and parts that could not get in a B&Q or Focus. The car park is adequate and they even have big trolleys so you can pick up doors, fence panels etc. The prices are not too bad.

I go back to the shop, ask to return the items he said "no refunds, the problem is with your water system, not my taps!" and "you have used them, you can't return them used" lol. The guy had no empathy (my financial situation), uncooperative and he'll regret his actions.
