The program is truly special--weekly animal classes, music, dance, and art activities that enrich the children and help them grow in so many ways. As someone who speaks several languages, the language aspect was very important to me. I've seen a big difference--my children started to understand and speak a little French in a short time. Every day at 10:00 AM, they have a structured learning session where they learn colors, numbers, and the alphabet. After just three months, the progress was amazing. The food is kosher, organic, fresh, and delicious--homemade meals that I would happily eat myself. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a warm, loving, and professional environment for their children

She cried for the first two weeks, which is completely normal at that age, but Anies met every wobble with calm patience and genuine kindness. That gentle transition paid off. Now she walks through the door without even looking back, completely confident, and she has never cried again. Most importantly, I feel she is truly safe there, and that peace of mind is everything. The kids also enjoy genuinely fun and enriching activities: art projects, music time, and even visits from animals. It's a place where learning and play blend beautifully. The environment is warm, attentive, and personal. It's clear that the children are cared for, not simply supervised. Anies really understands them. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, thoughtful, and safe place for their child.

We were nervous first-time parents having to go back to work, and had a really hard time finding the right daycare that checked the logistical boxes. But PLS was a perfect fit! They have long hours which allowed for our flexible work schedules, they're close to our house, and accepted young babies (all of these points were hard to find in other daycares). But beyond the logistics, our girl is THRIVING! Our daughter started when she was 5mo old and was away from us for the first time. We were anxious of course but after the first day we knew she was in the most caring hands. Yuri and Ana took the best care of her in the baby group, so much so that we cried when she graduated to the toddler group! They set up cute activities like a little kiddie pool in the summer and celebrated her first birthday with a very sweet party. She is incredibly loved by those two! And then in the toddler group, she is having the time of her life. They have weekly music class where a teacher comes and plays piano with songs, dance class, art class with projects, you name it! Our daughter always runs to the door when we arrive and is so happy when I pick her up. They even taught the kids a Mother's Day song which my daughter sings around the house (brought me to tears!). She is now 20mo and so advanced, which we attribute to PLS. She can count to 13, knows her ABCs, and many songs. And she learns discipline at school. The children are so loved, but you can also tell how much they respect the teachers and how well they listen, which translates back at home. I truly cannot recommend this place enough and happy to answer any questions anyone might have! This is a big decision and can be scary, but we couldn't be happier.

They offer a variety of classes like Dance, Art, Music and they have a really good Pre School Teacher that does educational, fun activities. The balance of creative and academic activities is so thoughtfully done. Each day is thoroughly designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Ms. Maria, Ms. Beatrice, and Ms. Angela are truly incredible. Their patience, kindness, and genuine love for the children made such a meaningful difference in our son's growth and confidence. They supported him beautifully in his learning and were especially amazing during potty training; always encouraging, gentle, and positive. Watching him thrive in their care has meant everything to us. Ms. Julia brings a level of professionalism, care, and organization that is truly felt throughout the school. She clearly understands how to thoughtfully run a preschool while still maintaining a warm, family like environment. We are endlessly grateful for the love, care, and strong foundation this school has given our son. West Hollywood Children's Academy is truly a gem, and we would recommend it without hesitation to any family looking for the very best preschool experience.

Our Honest Experience with Brella After 6 Months…read more After six months at Brella, and now that we've found a new daycare, I wanted to share our honest experience. Booking Brella uses an app for monthly childcare bookings, which open on the 20th at 10 a.m. For the past three months, the app has frozen during booking time, leaving my husband and me spending hours trying to secure spots for our son. Honestly, it's easier to get tickets to a Beyoncé or Taylor Swift concert than to book childcare at Brella. Dependability While Brella advertises full-time childcare flexibility, that hasn't been our experience. For the last three months, we've been waitlisted at least two days each week--for example, every Monday and Tuesday in November. After repeatedly asking in October, we were finally taken off the waitlist, but the inconsistency has been stressful. They also offer "early booking," which we requested access to, only to be told we were waitlisted for that as well. For working parents, this level of unpredictability makes Brella an unreliable option. We've had to use PTO or ask our in-laws to drive over two hours just to help cover childcare gaps. Quality and Communication Several of our favorite teachers have been let go, which was disappointing. Brella is also supposed to send daily photos and lesson plans, but there are days we receive no updates--or just a single photo of the back of our son's head. Overall For such a premium-priced childcare option, Brella has significant issues to address--from booking reliability to staffing and communication. While there are aspects we appreciated early on, it ultimately wasn't dependable enough for our family's needs.

From the start, Rebecca (Director) and Kimberly (Assistant Director) were wonderful in helping us through the transition. She began in the Peach classroom, moved to Coral, and will soon be transitioning to Lilac. Every single teacher we've met has been incredible, thoughtful, patient, and caring. I've been so impressed by the curriculum and the creativity behind the daily activities. Our daughter is thriving here. The teachers send us tons of photo updates and log each bathroom break (or diaper change), meal, and snack in real time through an app. They also take the time to chat at drop-off and pick-up about the day's activities, which makes us feel connected and involved even when we're not there. Brella's schedule is based on the hours you use rather than a monthly tuition, but you still get that valuable day-to-day consistency in the classroom. Most of her classmates attend five days a week, and she comes home every day talking excitedly about her friends. They're open almost every day of the year, the care is there when you need it, but it's also great not to have to pay for childcare when we take days off or go on vacation. We feel so lucky to have found Brella near our new home, it has truly exceeded our expectations and highly recommend it.

They are not only professional and reliable, but their genuine love for the children in their care is unmatched. Bertha treats every child as if they were her own. Her heart is so big, and her dedication to creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment is evident in everything she does. Every day, she prepares fresh, home-cooked meals for the kids! And let me tell you.. my son loves her cooking! (He can be kind of picky at home) I love that I can pick him up knowing he ate a full meal for every meal. What makes De Llano Daycare so special is the joy it brings to our son. Each morning, he lights up when we mention he's going to Mama Bertha's, and he walks through their doors with a big smile on his face. When we pick him up, he's content, happy, and full of stories from his day. That peace of mind is priceless. We also love that Bertha incorporates Spanish into their daily activities. It's so important to us that our child is exposed to multiple languages early on, and Bertha does this in the most beautiful and natural way. The thoughtful crafts they do together are truly amazing, creative, educational, and filled with love. We always look forward to seeing what they've made. As parents, we can't express enough how secure and grateful we feel leaving our son at De Llano Daycare. Bertha and Aymara have created such a loving, supportive space, and we are forever thankful to be part of their community. We recommend them wholeheartedly to any family looking for a daycare that feels like home.

However, when we followed up to make sure everything was set, Aymara informed us that we would now be required to start in August instead and that they would not hold our spot as originally agreed. This sudden change, with no prior notice, created unnecessary stress and put us in a difficult position after we had stopped looking for alternative options based on the understanding that our start date was secure. When we politely explained that this wasn't acceptable and we would be withdrawing, Aymara called my spouse and began yelling about the "tone" of our message. This reaction came across as extremely unprofessional and dismissive, especially given that it was their failure to honor the agreement that caused the issue in the first place. We ultimately decided that if a daycare cannot keep basic commitments or communicate respectfully, it is not an environment we trust for our child. I'm sharing this so other families can be aware and make informed decisions.
