This place only cares about money; not animals. My brother took is dog here in an emergency because…read moreshe was hit by a car and was in serious critical condition. They made him pay $500 before they would even look at the dog's injuries - of course, he paid because he loves his dog. They tried to refer him to drive her to another vet that was an hour away but her injuries were so bad he knew she would have never even made it. He ended up paying nearly $1,000 only to get a call in less than an hour after taking her there that his poor fur baby didn't make it. Now, he honestly didn't think she was going to make it and he's not a vet - so, why wouldn't they just say, "sir, your pet is suffering and not going to make it." Then just pay the cost to have the dog put out of its misery. I live in Cleveland and I can walk into an emergency vet clinic and they don't even talk about money when there is a critical care issue until the pet is stabilized. Then, the standard emergency vet fee is $140 and any additional costs for the services provided - NOT $500 to walk in the dang door. They know they are the only vet in the area and they pray on our love for our fur babies by robbing your bank account. Again, they don't give a rats butt about your animals.

She was in their care for 5 days and she came home with matted feces on her, especially after her just recently being in for a UTI. They treated her for the UTI and our home care instructions are to keep her area clean, because of her Anatomy she is prone to UTIs . The OFFICE MANAGER denies they would release her in that condition and she "stands behind her techs word" even though I have picture and video evidence of the matted feces all over my dog, after being laid up in a bed for 5 days !!!! Ridiculous. Will not be getting anymore business from us and I DO NOT recommend Only gave them one star because I couldn't post without one.

This is the absolute worst clinic I have ever seen. I unfortunately had the displeasure of working…read morehere. What I experienced was the most unprofessional, emotionally unstable, vulgar group of people I have ever met. From my first interview there were red flags, constantly complaining about how she can't keep people working for her, (probably because of the horrible toxic environment and VERY poor compensation) asking if I had children and when I said no, saying how that's good because people with kids like to use their kids being sick as excuses not to work. There were plenty of red flags but since it was my first interview in the veterinary field I dismissed them. I digress. The environment it was very toxic. They swore constantly, worse than sailors. Swearing about and name calling clients, other employees when they weren't around, former employees, even about other doctors. Even if you think she likes you, which is sad because I've seen five star reviews from people that if only knew the vile things she's said. Very two faced. As for her veterinary skills, I would very much not trust them with any animals. I've never seen more incompetence in my life. I will leave it at that as the details are just highly disturbing. I don't think she even likes animals. She doesn't own any herself. She said she doesn't like dogs or cats, explaining both are "a**holes". Her and her assistant are very emotionally unstable. They can be calm then all of the sudden have outbursts, swearing and even throwing things.. medical tape, pill bottles etc. It's a very toxic environment. I will add a photo she had on her door facing the sidewalk for everybody to see. It pretty much perfectly depicts the type of unprofessional vulgar environment it is. I recommend steering clear.

Dr. Elliot is sweet and kind to my pets, and she clearly explains what's wrong.
